I just want to say, that father and son in the background, amazing. Father of the year award, i mean seriously. He literally slides down the bowl with his son teaching him to drop in, and then basically carries him back up the bowl with his board. Seriously, WOW.

Varial flip was my first flip trick too. Way better at kickflips now but there was a time I couldn't get the board to flip straight it was like magic

I landed a varial kickflip prior to the regular kickflips as well. Came super easily as opposed to regular kickflips.

Sick ass vid man lol what's sucks here in Texas is there is no skateparks anywhere close closest one for me is a 2hr drive and I'm like the only skater in my town so no one really to help I watch your vids all the time it's a big help thank you for everything you have done for the skating community well cept me just perfecting my pop shove it and my board breaks😂😂
Flip tricks used to be hard to learn for me, but once I learned heelflips (after kickflips) way back when, I realized something. Foot positioning is not a concrete thing. I learned varials really fast, simply because I changed up the foot positioning to my liking. It's all in experimentation.
