- I just loved the way the music transitions from the normal Legendary theme to Giratina´s theme, but didn´t found a mashup that includes both so i ended up doing a whole medley like mashup using Gen 4 OST and Legends Arceus OST, i hope you like it
The music doesn´t belong to me, just having fun mashing them up, no copyright infringement is intended.

That would've confirmed that some Legendary pokemon can polymorph, & we wouldn't want that in the community

I would love to say the events of Pokémon Platinum are 100% the actual canon.
This is when Giratina realized it was being used, for what? to end all of time. it saw what it was doing and only ONE person STOOD in their way and won. even when it got ENRAGED and was on the winning end, it still lost. when the Chains were being used on Dialga and Palkia, it went for their aid. It knew those 2 were WORSE than itself, if Cyrus had their control, it would be over for ALL reality. instead, it interrupted that. getting into Cyrus's way and dragging him into the Distortion World. Seeing Dawn or Lucas was almost like it saw... an old rival, a rival that it never got to see in forever. they beat Cyrus and stopped an apocalypse from happening. deeming them worthy to have them as their trainer.

it's my favourite part of the whole theme tbh
The Sinnoh Legendary theme may have been used for all Legendary Pokemon back in the day, but it feels like Giratina pioneered it. When I listen to the theme it feels less like a Heatran theme or a Regigigas theme, but more along the lines of shadowy eldritch monster, looming over you.
Love how the second half with his actual theme is so overwhelming. There's the high pitched "warning alarm" that gets almost drowned by the rest of the music, perfectly illustrating his intensity and the level of danger.
Thanks op for posting this combination of the first and second fights! I've listened to it more than a dozen times
It’s actually a heart rate monitor! It flatlines as the song starts because you beat Giratina and it wakes back up to transition into its second phase, and then it flatlines a second time at the end of the song when you beat him for reals. The quick pace of the heart rate monitor means that the battle is not only intense for you, but for Giratina as well!

I kinda saw it coming, but it wasn't any less epic because of that. Giratina going to fall, but he basically pulled a refuse to die and became even stronger.

@@Onavi1 maybe you could try something with Dialga and Palkia but with also legendary Arceus origin forms as well and as well as them appearing. Maybe Something could also be really cool to come up with and I imagine not just me wanting to hear

You all should have known better when Giratina had the normal Sinnoh legendary music instead of his own theme from Platinum. The second phase was not a surprise at all.
I mean tbf there has never been a 3 phase boss fight in pokemon so many people might of thought giratina's theme was save for when you caught him

Nah it was a surprise. Never had a 3 phase boss in pokemon before. It doesn't matter how you feel about that, veteran pokemon fans were conditioned for like 25 years to think there wouldn't be another phase to this battle. You can't just brush that off lol

@@legendofmira4759 Well, you were crazy over leveled. You must have finished the Pokédex before this battle and went straight to Arceus afterward. Probably the way you were supposed to do it, honestly. Though, you still had to catch the Forces of Nature and Giratina itself first.
