    The BEST sailing videos online. My wife and I bought a cruising sailboat after a few years with our Laser, so these videos are perfect for us. Thanks!

    Really love how you make a vid on how to tack when cruising, but you got to have that hardstyle music😅

    Great stuff. Very clear and all the right points covered. The only improvement I can suggest would be to lower the music in the sound mix: it blocks the voice-over in a few places.

    your videos are detailed and excellent teaching. However the music needs to be lowered in volume in several spots on all your videos-you have a great teaching voice! Don't let it get drowned out. :)

    As usual, an excellent video - slow moving (enough time for a viewer to digest) and very detailed. The only 2 suggestions I have, if you don't mind of course are:
    1. The music is very loud at times. Sometime it makes it hard to hear the words.
    2. Why not use 2 winch handles - one on each side of the boat, instead of always moving it from one side to the other?

      @SailFanatics  Před 7 lety

      Having two genoa winch handles would be sweet, but a new one is $100+ and we unfortuantely are trying to sail on a bit of a budget...

    What actions are needed on the main sheet?

    • @SailFanatics
      @SailFanatics  Před 2 lety

      None ... other than if the traveller is not trimmed in the center position. If so, after the tack, adjust the traveller to mirror its position on the prior tack
