- Our world is in need of the saving power of Jesus Christ! But, "How can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" I ask you - how are we gladly singing His praise today? Salvation Army, raise your voices! The Founder's song tells the story of God's boundless salvation... but it won't sing itself!

I learned this song in Peshawar, Pakistan sitting in the home of missionary Don Rowley in the mid 1960's. It brings back such wonderful memories. Thank you for posting it.

Thank you for this lovely version, we played it today at My Dads - Major John White’s funeral service as singing is not permitted during the pandemic. He was a Salvationist all his life and a corps officer for 43 years, it was a fitting tribute to play.
It says it all for me. I sing it while I live and I hope they will sing it at my funeral.
