[PSO2:NGS] Darkfalz: Solus Copium Guide

This boss can be incredibly difficult to defeat. You must be geared and also pay attention to all attacks.
This fight can actually be done in more ways than I provided in this video, but this was made to get you started on learning how to complete it as fast as possible.

Beat Solus yesterday (as of typing this).
Honestly the Vital Gauge reward is nice in my opinion as it’s a visual reminder that my team actually did it.
And thanks for confirming that Potency Floor is not useless. Gonna keep mine around 70%-75% and focus solely on Potency from here on.

Just started playing 2 weeks ago but have already started doing these boss fights. My main issue is jumping high enough to dodge the floor when it comes up. Double tapping W to sprint and then having to jump high AFTER sprinting is extremely counter-productive.

If you use and hold step dodge you will go into a sprint, I think it’s x

Is the 1st DPS check (Blood Water, Pillars & 2 Bombs) mandatory? I rember destroying one bomb, then ignore 2nd bomb and just jump high and stay airborne as long as possible until Red Water disappears and next Phase begins.

It's not mandatory, but it saves you time. If manage to deal enough damage you can stun him and attack his halo and down him after.
After he gets up he will proceed to waste your time with phase 2 attacks.

it is a standing quest which you can do without needing a trigger. An 8 man version will soon be released as a UQ

In my opinion the boss is 2/10, it doesn't feel imposing at all, it doesn't feel epic, it's definitely downgrade from DFA feel when it first released.
Two word to describe this boss is "annoying" And "Worthless".
Why?
1. It's attack animation is pretty slow this could throw player off balance if they regularly fight in Trinitas or Leciel, I mean I can almost see it's attack animation in slow motion during the fight.
2. This boss have too many timegate and not only one or two but three DPS check, that's just stupid.
95% will be unable to beat this boss not many player have 150%+ potency for all its shenanigan.
3. The reward is trash, it's not even guarantee starl soul, all you get is promise of better rate of Tisah and after few days grinding this fat mthrfker no Tisah, nothing so far.

This was really helpful, as a Talis main! I’ve done about 15-20 Solus runs now and I just keep getting bodied despite getting the sidestep.
This is DEFINITELY not Aegis 🥲🙃
