    I can only speak for Australian teachers here but the numbers are slightly off. Salaries of course vary widely throughout different states and territories but after 15 years, one would definitely earn more than USD60K/year. This is a great video though, I hope this comment doesn't come across too negatively. Keep doing what you're doing, we appreciate you 😊

      Great point! Salaries do fluctuate and vary based on many factors in many of these countries. Many can often make more or less depending on several variables. It definitely helps to get present day insight from people who are native to these areas and working in similar roles. Thanks for sharing your comment! Much appreciated :-)

Since I'm not sure of how you applied, what you submitted, the needs of the school/company you applied to, your education and skillset based upon what's in your resume, it's not easy for me to pinpoint what may be causing the delay. I'm also not sure where you are applying. Some places may not simply respond. Some places may just hold your resume on file and reach out if they happen to feel you may be a fit for a position within the school. However, your concern is a good topic for a video that I may create to help people increase their chances of getting hired. Feel free to let me know if you have a specific question or any other comments. In the meantime, I wish you luck with your search.

      That's a great question! I did not conduct extensive research about teacher citizens of certain countries for this video since the goal was to focus mostly on salaries offered in general. However, you just gave me an idea on new video content! Thank you. I do know that even though a teacher may be certified in their native country, this does not guarantee that your citizenship or qualifications will award you the salary advertised by the country you want to teach in. Please check back for the next video I'm soon to post on countries with tax-free salaries. In the meantime, I will research the topic you asked so I can create content for it.

      Great question! These salaries are per year. I also have another video on the channel that reviews countries that pay the highest TAX-FREE salaries. I have left a link in the description if you want to check it out.

    HI, May I know the average salary of an Economics teacher (Cambridge & Edexcel) in Saudi arabia with 5 years experience ?

      @underratedteacher  Před 2 lety +1

      From a brief search it appears you can make 1200 SAR or 3200 USD. It can be more if employed at colleges and universities. In some cases, the salary can be more or less and will vary based upon the employer. I will research more to see if I can find additional content to share.

      Yes, you can always apply to teach abroad. You must meet the requirements to teach in the country that you are interested in working it.

    Covid taught us 1 teacher can teach every child in the country. That's why we have to privatize

    • @essennagerry

      That is not true - although I agree that in virtually every country the way teaching staff is managed and the way teaching as a whole is organized can be significantly more efficient, we definitely need a good amount of teachers. Also, privatization (?) doesn't mean you are immune to being brainwashed by marketing, ESPECIALLY in the anglophone West. Trust me, I'm European, and there's a lot to critisize in the educational systems of many European countries, but the intellectual bubble e.g. Americans live in is insane to me. But it makes sense. It's the anglophone sphere... people in the anglophone sphere do not need to learn a second language or really look outside their own system. There is a lot that can be better for university education in the U.S. and it is things already implemented in many European countries. Same goes for health care and social security. I by no means support communism, but a careful regulation of capitalism with some socialistic elements implemented by the government seem the wisest way to go, to me, and the difference between the U.S. and EU countries make this evident, in my opinion.
