The high vocals are mostly Siyeon but JiU did them too in Reason. There are seven members, Yoohyeon generally ramps up the energy ("drop thunder" in Boca) and Handong RIPS the heart out of your chest like the guy from Temple of Doom ("we are always with Insomnia" in Reason). You'll probably like BEcause, Black or White, Bang Bang Bang cover with the rap sections. There are many more in series but I don't want you flooded with comments about out of order.

Dami is the main rapper and usually has a verse every song, but she can sing too and you'll hear it in some B sides. SuA has only rapped in a couple songs, reason and good night being the main ones. She's the main dancer. Gahyeon is the other rapper, she was the one in Boca with the pink hair. She's also the maknae. In Reason, the first rap verse is Dami and SuA, the second is just Dami, and the third is Gahyeon and Dami. See if you can tell when they switch :) There are seven members. One of them, Handong, is Chinese and was in China doing a competition show when covid hit, and she got stuck there for a while after. So there are several songs she wasn't around for. But it's not only their title tracks, their MVs, their incredible b-sides, or their insane choreography and music. These girls are also amazing off stage. They're such goofy, super funny, super chaotic, loving, lovable dorks, who really love each other. Their off stage clips, their variety show appearances, their Dreamcatcher Mind reality show, the fan made videos and guides (eg everything from Insomnicsy and others), legendary live concerts (especially around Halloween), the behind the scenes Dreamcatcher Notes and the member's vlogs... And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". And the song is a banger! Yes, Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy. Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Finally, "Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia (name of the fandom) might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher! I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri. Although they are more known internationally, they are still seen as “underdogs” or “black sheep’s”in South Korea due to their rock concept, which is such a shame for the talent that they put out. They actually JUST got their first win on Show Champion on April 20th 2022.. after 5 years of being a group, but I suppose that they are somewhat getting a bit more recognition in Korea. I think the mashup of different musical themes in the song reached a wide range of people who have a different tastes in music. This is the song that convinced me to become a full-time -cult- -member- InSomnia :D Next one would be Scream, though by order it should be the first one (followed by Boca, then Odd Eye) in the Dystopia trilogy. Reason is actually their third fan song. It was released to celebrate their 6th anniversary last January. Their title tracks always incorporate heavy rock sound, but their B-sides is a whole universe. You'll get rock, ballad, EDM, Trap, pop, 80's pop, reggae, punk, jazz, and many more.

I will share with you though, they really do love their fandom. Real talk, I cried for, like, 3 days straight from watching reactions to Reason when it dropped. It still hits me, to be honest. Admittedly, I haven't been into K-pop for a super long time (since August 2021), but I've never felt so genuinely appreciated by any other group/artist both in and out of K-pop. Idk. Their interactions with the fandom feel a lot more personal. I've met and spoken with them a couple of times. They are good folks, for sure. You can tell by the look in their eyes and tone of their voice that, when they tell you they are grateful that you spent your time to come see them, they mean that shit. Good example. I went to their recent tour stop in Dallas. During one of the ments, the topic came and they asked, "Wait. How many of you have to work in the morning?" Most of the crowd cheered, etc. and their minds seemed blown. lol. Another thing from that show was Yoohyeon essentially thanking, in English, all of the fans that aren't comfortable in large crowds or going to big events in general for still coming out to see them. I'm in a decent amount of Discords and know a measurable amount of people that can't go to shows for that exact reason so that melted my heart a bit. All DC songs are gender neutral and in their covers they don't change pronouns...fierce on stage and chaotic, clumsy and loud off stage... super funny..... before being Dreamcatcher 5 of the members debuted as Minx with a bubble gum concept but it was not successful even though their songs were very good but that year Gfriend, Red velvet, ect. you will know when you see the guide... Yeah.. Dreamcatcher is a group who can actually suck people into their fandom. They are a bunch of talents and dorks. If you decided to dive into their personality, you will find that they are one of the most genuine personality on and off stage. Virtually no strings attached. So, welcome to the Dreamland. Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye comprise the Dystopia trilogy. They don't need to be watched in the order they were released because they don't tell a story, but rather have a common theme of how toxic the internet can be especially in Korea. Korean Idols have been driven to suicide by social media campaigns aimed at them, because in one way or another they defied Korean social norms. When Sua sings 'too many angels dying now', that's what she's talking about. Their first 7 title tracks do tell a continuing story so should be watched in order of release which is Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri, and Breaking Out. Fly High is the prequel to the Nightmare story, but was released after the first two MV's. Breaking Out is a Japanese language release so wasn't seen in Korea. The result of that is that many fans thought Piri was the final part of the Nightmare story arc. Their early title tracks are even more rock than the later ones.
Breaking Out is even on a completely different YT channel, Pony Canyon, because it is a Japanese company. The group also has other Japanese releases on that channel.
If it's the rapping you love, I highly recommend their song Maison. While musically it's not my fave song of theirs, the rapping is next level. Maison also has a very positive message about protecting the planet from the damage we cause our environment in our daily lives. The vocals you were impressed with towards the end of Boca was our main vocalist Siyeon. If you want your mind blown check out her cover of Speechless and also Shadow which has 2 versions. The slow version is vocally nuts and also includes amazing vocals by the main rapper Dami.
They're my favorite girl group by far! Scream, Boca and Odd Eye are a trilogy, btw, you missed the first one and watched the other two out of order, but no big deal in terms of understanding the story, just check Scream :D If you're into more rock-y kpop, check Pentagon (Daisy, Do or Not, Basquiat, their covers of Lovesick Girls and Not Shy on It's Live) Are you into Korean bands, too? Rolling Quartz is great, as is Xdinary Heroes. Rolling is more hardcore, Xdinary is more pop punk, both have great songs and great covers. I recommend ONEWE, too (ONEUS's brother band).

Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song?
Finally, "Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia (name of the fandom) might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher!
I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri.
Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem!

Although they are more known internationally, they are still seen as “underdogs” or “black sheep’s”in South Korea due to their rock concept, which is such a shame for the talent that they put out. They actually JUST got their first win on Show Champion on April 20th 2022.. after 5 years of being a group, but I suppose that they are somewhat getting a bit more recognition in Korea. Reason is actually their third fan song. It was released to celebrate their 6th anniversary last January.
Their title tracks always incorporate heavy rock sound, but their B-sides is a whole universe. You'll get rock, ballad, EDM, Trap, pop, 80's pop, reggae, punk, jazz, and many more.

Yay! Welcome to the Dreamworld! I'm so happy you ended up reacting to them! They're a really great group! A lot of people have already covered information about all of the songs. I will share with you though, they really do love their fandom. Real talk, I cried for, like, 3 days straight from watching reactions to Reason when it dropped. It still hits me, to be honest. Admittedly, I haven't been into K-pop for a super long time (since August 2021), but I've never felt so genuinely appreciated by any other group/artist both in and out of K-pop. Idk. Their interactions with the fandom feel a lot more personal. I've met and spoken with them a couple of times. They are good folks, for sure. You can tell by the look in their eyes and tone of their voice that, when they tell you they are grateful that you spent your time to come see them, they mean that shit. Good example. I went to their recent tour stop in Dallas. During one of the ments, the topic came and they asked, "Wait. How many of you have to work in the morning?" Most of the crowd cheered, etc. and their minds seemed blown. lol. Another thing from that show was Yoohyeon essentially thanking, in English, all of the fans that aren't comfortable in large crowds or going to big events in general for still coming out to see them. I'm in a decent amount of Discords and know a measurable amount of people that can't go to shows for that exact reason so that melted my heart a bit. All of that being said, know that when InSomnia commenters tell you that we are happy that you're showing them some love, we also mean that shit. 😂 Thanks for the reactions and Dreamcatcher goodness! Dreamcatcher is literally like a cult to Somnias. Their music is incredible but the members as persons are even more incredible and so damn hilarious, like part time idols / full time comedians hilarious. Would recommend this song or that song but its useless really, just pick any song from them, you will love it. That's just how amazing they are, not a single bad song in their entire discography.

Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye comprise the Dystopia trilogy. They don't need to be watched in the order they were released because they don't tell a story, but rather have a common theme of how toxic the internet can be especially in Korea. Korean Idols have been driven to suicide by social media campaigns aimed at them, because in one way or another they defied Korean social norms. When Sua sings 'too many angels dying now', that's what she's talking about.
Their first 7 title tracks do tell a continuing story so should be watched in order of release which is Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri, and Breaking Out. Fly High is the prequel to the Nightmare story, but was released after the first two MV's. Breaking Out is a Japanese language release so wasn't seen in Korea. The result of that is that many fans thought Piri was the final part of the Nightmare story arc. Their early title tracks are even more rock than the later ones.

Breaking Out is even on a completely different YT channel, Pony Canyon, because it is a Japanese company. The group also has other Japanese releases on that channel.
If it's the rapping you love, I highly recommend their song Maison. While musically it's not my fave song of theirs, the rapping is next level. Maison also has a very positive message about protecting the planet from the damage we cause our environment in our daily lives. The vocals you were impressed with towards the end of Boca was our main vocalist Siyeon. If you want your mind blown check out her cover of Speechless and also Shadow which has 2 versions. The slow version is vocally nuts and also includes amazing vocals by the main rapper Dami.
