It's pretty simple really. If you look at how dogs are bred, there's a meticulous protocol that's followed to make sure the bloodline is pure and the traits are recorded so in future generations of the breed can carry on their unique look, temperament, and personality.
The House of Windsor comes from a very long line of succession born of breeding, temperament, personality, and duty to one's country above all else.
Not so much for the woman that Harry married. She neither has the breeding, temperament, personality, or devotion to the country and will never understand what the Monarchy represents because of her narcissism and self-loathing, knowing she got where she's at by "acting" the part but in reality, actually fulfilling one's duty as a Royal requires self-sacrifice and to resist the temptation to use the title of Prince or Princess for commercial and financial gain. That's the real reason why Markel couldn't stand being in the UK. She saw the opportunity to capitalize on her title for money, fame, recognition, and power but the Queen saw through the charade and denied her that chance to reinvent her life and create her own fantasy world.

I grew up in a small town in Canada where we respected the Queen, notwithstanding the tribulations in her family (which really weren’t any worse than what a normal family goes through). They're not trying to heal themselves: They wound the members of the RF solely to make obscenely large amounts of money so that MM can have the celebrity she has always coveted (as a child she desperately wanted to be one of the stars on the red carpet at events) and the wardrobe to go with it, and so that PH can support his wife in that endeavor.
It boggles the mind: their stated reasons for leaving the RF were to have the privacy they were denied as members of the RF, and to allow their children to have normal lives free of the expectations and lack of privacy that being members of the RF entailed.
Yet MM constantly has her publicists putting her and her husband out there in the public eye, seeding social media threads with the narratives they seek to propagate. AND to top it off, their noses are put out of joint that KC hasn't immediately named their children HRH Prince and HRH Princess. (Because that would be another way they could make monetary demands of the RF, while also giving MM even more of the celebrity she covets above all else.)
TBH, a docuseries as a chronicle of a "love story" would make more sense if they had already been married 30+ years and had been a relatively private couple with a relatively private life apart from the headlines. We already KNOW everything about their "love story". We know all the details, even the ones MM would like us to forget (and that PH may not know). So this is about *changing* the story, and making it one more to the liking of MM and PH. It is about making sure that the public understands that *they* are the victims here, *regardless* of the actual facts.

1) Netflix trailer appears to show the couple being followed by paparazzi - but it's actually Katie Price from outside court
2) A photo show H&M being hounded by the press was actually taken at a Harry Potter premiere years before the pair met.
3) The original version of the picture was taken in 2007 at Heathrow Airport and included the Harry's ex-girlfriend Ms Davy, cropped out by them for the purpose of the trailer.
4) The photo was taken in 1938 and the children were cheering for Queen Mary and not H&M

Saying all out war between H&M and the Royals is not fair really. That suggests to me the two sides are as bad as each other. The photo used by Netflix to show Harry and Meghan being hounded by the press was actually taken at a Harry Potter premiere years before the pair met.But they were really pointing their cameras at the all-star cast of the final film in JK Rowling’s wizarding franchise at an event in July 2011. They cant even tell the truth in the trailer.
Its been said there are copyright infrigments on that image.... wow, this will cut out probably 3/4 of their images they keep flashing of other people.
