Hi James! I'm one of the Engineers who designed Rob and Bless's house. The wall system is called PLASWALL and it's designed and supplied by Sterling Construction and Development Corp. from Carmona, Cavite. Plaswall's been around since the early 2000s and it's the ORIGINAL permanent formwork wall system. We've used this wall system to do mass housing projects to high-end resorts and hotels.
Thank you for appreciating our wall system and featuring it on your vlog.
Hi Dianne. Thanks for the info. I'll pass that on in the next update video of Rob & Bless's house. I think there will be a lot of interest in that product. Salamat & ingat!
It’s amazing to see how busy you are being a retired professional and enjoying yourself and getting settled in Asia.❤❤
Exciting to watch all the house builds, especially Rob and Bless house build (2nd house) sorry if I messed the names up.
Some great progress! All three builds are unique and well-designed IMO...
Clearing the land around the neighbouring area might help with keeping critters out, good job on beautification...
The rise in construction costs have obviously not hindered folks building there...
Thanks for the updates, James...You and Ness have a great day!
🙏🙏🙏
👍😎👍
Merry Christmas James and Niece
Wow great video James. I like the different design layouts of each house. As always great drone footage.
Great video and information as always James. All nice houses, house 3 is going to be huge.
Happy New Year to you and Ness. Really enjoy your Great videos. Keep up your Great work. God Bless. May 2024 be more prosperous and happiness for you both. Can't wait for your new videos coming. Love from Iowa USA 🇺🇸.
Excellent coverage on some TME builds! Interesting to see the different methods used!
Always a great house build tour guide… thank you 👏🏻👏🏻
That was a great idea you suggested to the owner for the pool for water leveling putting pipe or tube to level the flow of water from the bigger pool to the childrens pool. I need to see updates after that pool be done. You have a busy day on the video i can see it. thanks for this awesome video. New friend here, alien bert windo just landed here from Cebu. Met you at Artco Drone live stream earlier. By the way good luck on taking those cut trees for beautification on your neighborhood.
Great to meet up with you on Art's show. Stay in touch and Merry Christmas!
Magandang umaga James and Ness 😊😊
Hi James, it’s great to see that you are doing so well. You are creating quite the community. I see that some of the properties that we were considering were purchased. I still love the area…who knows what the future holds. Let me know if you are ever visiting Hawaii, would love to meet up.
Thanks for the invite Andre. We will be visiting Hawaii next year as we have family there. Keep in touch!
Good they use the space below the balcony, extra room …
My only problem with a concrete house is they are like a pizza oven.
They look nice They are expensive.
But Hey, if you have money to burn. That why not?
Thanks for sharing.
❤
Concerned about how they attached the new roof framing to the house.
Hi James, loveeeeeee this video! 😍😍😍 who is the contractor for the 2nd house? Is it also Caribbean?
Good day James,
I have a question on brining a grayco paint sprayer to the Phillippens. Should I just buy one there? My concern is the quality that is there. I understand I would need a converter. Thanks for all your videos. And your back yard is amazing👍.
I’m Hoping some day to do the same back yard.
I generally don't recommend bringing any 120VAC appliances/tools here. Almost anything you find in N. America you can find the 220VAC equivalent here.

Thanks James,
I will keep this in mind As I start moving there. Have a great weekend.
Congratulations, good to see your hard work has paid off. What is the cost per square meter to build there with all the modern building techniques? I’ve not been watching your videos in a few years and I was wondering what the cost difference is between when you built your mansion and the mansions being built around you today, land included in the calculation.
The costs certainly have gone up since we began building Villa Feliz in 2017. Almost double mainly because of the raw materials. Labor has not gone up much in this same time period.
A rough estimate on what you can build a moderate quality house like some of the builds you will see in my videos are around P35k/sqm. For ultra modern with all the bells and whistles you will be in the P50k+ range. This does not include land. Land has a wide delta depending on location, and whether you are in a gated community or not. Prices can go for around P1k in the Provence to P30+k in highly desirable gated communities with amenities.
Hi James, thanks for the updates. One question for you on the first house. What type of metal is used for the pool railings and what is the size of the tubing? Thank you
Pretty sure they used galvanized tubular then painted. I would prefer stainless around the pool but it's much more expensive.
Very interesting video, do you know the size of the building it seems huge?
Going to guess the first two houses ~180sqm and the last house ~330sqm gross which includes the pools. I'll try to get the true specs in the next update.
Prices please?
Tim K is hiding somewhere under that stump
Hi James.
No Christmas updates? what's wrong
I have and need to compile. This has been an exceptionally busy holiday season for us.
Why don’t you just buy the lot since the owner is not interested in building there, then it can be yours and you can plant permanently all the fruits bearing trees and vegetables that you can also sell in the market.
I would love to unfortunately we are restricted to only owning 1,000 sqm of land here in the Philippines since my wife doesn't hold a Philippine citizenship anymore (Balikbayan)
