This man was one of my heroes as a kid growing up in the 80's, along with Stallone and Schwarzenegger. He had a phenomenal physique, great martial arts skills, and loads of charisma. It was a great time to grow up.

A few guys come up and seats themselves at their table.

Jc grabs the man but is met with some suprise martial arts moves that brings him to his knees.
Thug 2: Maybe we should go.
Thug 1: No. This is the part where he goes into a rage before he then kicks our 455! This I've gotta see for myself.
Jc holds his gut unable to respond.
The Thug puts his hand on Jc, another arm intercepts..
It's M's. And her back handed knuckle fist stuns Thug 1 causing him to trip over himself.
The crowd laughs. The thugs leave in embarrassment.
M and her friends help up Jc onto a chair.
Jc: Thanks. That's quite a move. A very familiar one at that.
Sally: She's studied all your moves.
Jc: She has?
Sally: Yup since she was little. Has your poster hanging in her room.
M: Sally!
Jc: Maybe you can show me some more familiar moves at my gym.
Sally: You have a gym?

Sally: Did you know he has a gym?

Jc: I'm having try outs if your interested. It's open to the public..for my next movie and to do a little sparring to get back into shape.

Jc looks at M.

They shake hands.
Jc:... and thanks again.
Expanded synopsis: M and Sally manage to get parts in JCVDs movie after the tryouts. During production, the thugs seek to sabbatage JCVDs movie when they fail tryouts (M kicks their 45535)
However, JCVDs crew had been filming behind the scenes footage of the production given this rivalry and uses it instead in post production in place of the movie.
The twist in the plot....
M finds out the documentary was become something more than just a documentary and confronts JC about it....
M: How long have you known!!? Are you faking this now!?
She looks around for cameras
M: I trusted you! I thought you were my hero!! But you like the rest don't know what side of the stage you are standing on from one moment to the next and because of it I can't tell what's real anymore either!
She walks away. Jc stops her.
Jc: Wait a minute, M let me explain! I know it was a stupid idea to play along but you've got to believe me, it wasn't until recently I only discovered myself what was going on. I didn't know how to break it to you and for a time didn't know what was real myself and the movie we planned wasn't turning out as planned. I was waiting for the right moment to tell you but the circumstance turned against us both...I'm sorry. I'm calling it off.
M suddenly grab on to Jc holding him tight.
He reciprocated.
M: What do we do now?
JC: The only thing we can do. Call it all off. There is no doubt the ones that had that in mind to begin with haven't.
M: Wait a minute. I have an idea.
Jc: It's your show. Shoot.
M: They don't know that I know right?

JC comes up to M.

Jc nods.
Jc: They got it all. We didn't get there in time. But that doesnt matter now.
M: Why?
Jc: Because the truth behind the tale is that you've actually come to be my hero instead.
M: But...Ive..
Jc: And that is a good thing. Believe me I dont mind. However there is something they didn't get.
M: What?
Jc: The behind the scenes footage...and the producers want to use that instead!
M: What was supposed to be the documentary? I thought that we agreed..
Jc: I know. But it is not up to me, its up to you. Ill make sure of that.
M: Documentaries dont make good movies.
Jc: They dont, but, they want to edit it as a reality TV cut with you as the star!
M: I don't know what to say? What do you think?
Jc: You should know by now what I think M. Just say yes! Because it is true, that in reality you are my hero. It would only be fair.
M: Yes!
They hug then begin walking away from the camera.
M: But what will they call it? My hero M?
Jc: Now, wait a minute! that would be too obvious. And it would look bad for my reputation!

Jc: How about we meet each other in the middle, and call it heros?
They both laugh as they walk away.

Begin end credit sequence.

J hesitates.
P: Otherwise this is a wash.

Sometime later..

Jc walks down a street and sits at an open table.
The camera, as ibserved from another angle pans up the street in Ms direction.
M: look! Its jean claude!
Sally: Oh, lets sit with him M!
M: Maybe afterward we will say hi. I dont want to intrude on his privacy.
Sally: Privacy? He picked a good spot for it!
Another angle:
P: ok, bring in the stuntmen! And action!
The stunt men walk up the street and sit at Ms table.
From the distance we see a scuffle and the men running off.
Back to shot:
M and her friends are helping Jc onto one of their chairs.
J: Thankyou.
M: Are you ok?
J nods no.
J: Something just happened and I need your guys help. Play along with me?
They nod.
Sally: Sure, what is it?
J: Its my producers. I want to teach them a lesson they will never forget. Here. Meet me at this location. I will fill you in on all the details...

That form is immaculate. Dudes the real deal. Because of Hollywood people think hes not a good martial artist or "just a dancer". He was a world class kickboxer and also a tough dude. He wouldve stomped seagal a new one had that fight actually taken place like he wanted lol.
I met Van Damme in France a couple of years ago, for one of his latest movies and asked him to do what any fan would see : his drunk dance, still got the footage somewhere in an old phone. This guy was my model in the 90's and he didn't change at all and kept being a simple and gentle man.

Jc do is by far the most heroic male figure I looked up to and loved watching growing up. I got alittle comedic in my teens with his long lasting dragged out expressions in the battles after a punch or kick. I took it to higher levels and exaggerated mine wayyyyy longer but it was just because he was so cool to me. Glad to see he is loving his best life and looks to be in incredible shape. The way he threw that kick and stopped it at the height he did is low key impressive. Still at his age, it’s inspiring… LONG LIVE JC”MOTHERFUCKING”VD
