Hello everyone!!! I am so excited to share this video, for many reasons.
Firstly, it's been ages since I put up any Octopath and it was nice to relearn Flamesgrace in order to film the video.
Second, I'm happy to be able to put up a nice wintery, snowy video just in time for the holiday season! :D
Thirdly, and probably the biggest reason, is that this is probably the nicest looking video I've made in a long time, especially one I made by myself (although I did have a little help from my husband Eric on one of the hand close-ups to make sure my hands stayed in frame). The new Sony camera I was able to get earlier this year, thanks in large part to community member Table 41, is able to film in 120 fps - which means it is capable of slo mo! Normally I wouldn't need this while filming myself playing (although maybe it's something to try in future? lol), but I had always wanted to film SOMETHING in the snow and knew it would be the perfect opportunity to test it out. Now, that ended up just being B roll for this video, because I would have to be insane to try and play my harp outdoors for an hour plus to film a video in -10 C weather, but the snow falling in slow motion is just so thrilling to see 😍

Flamesgrace bgm holds a special place in my heart- It reminds me of going to a Christmas pageant as a 7yo kid on a snowy night. Hands down among the top in my list of favorite game music! Love all your videos ☺️

Perhaps Flamsgrace is the most ideal place for me to celebrate Christmas,because it holds the most heartwarming memories.

Ooh, my second favourite track from both games, sitting between "A Verdant Wind Blows" at no.1 and "Daughter of the Dark God" at no.3. Such a warm and inviting yet chilly track, love it.

It's December, I'm ready for some snow! Well, it ain't falling here, but at least I can enjoy some great winter footage set to a soothing harp soundtrack.

It's really nice to be able to watch you play this piece now! And the slow mo bits add a lot. Wintery songs always make me feel very cozy, like I'm nice and warm inside while snow is falling outside, and the clips of you outdoors in the snow give me the same feeling between that and when you're playing your harp. It's a very warm song and the video is also beautiful.

(Ephesians 2:8-9) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith (In Jesus as your savior)-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.
(Romans 4:5) However, to the one who does not work but trusts God (Jesus) who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.
Trust in Jesus as your savior and you will be go heaven when you die. I pray that you trust in him and tell your family and friends as well.
How is this at all relevant to the topic at hand? Keep the religious stuff out of this, it adds nothing and has no reason for being here of all places.
