The lyrics mean exactly the same, but are of course interpreted with in the danish version, I would guess... But almost directly translated to english it would be something like this:

It sounds pretty dumb directly translated, but I think it gives you a pretty good idea of what he says - and you can there by understand why they have interpreted with it in the english version :P

Those people need to give it a chance at first I’ll admit it took me by surprise but only because I was like what did I just hear,But I loved it still do will until I leave this earth it’s so unique and the build up before it is killer stuff,In Still Counting they have a reggae feel to the beat then the drums straighten out a bit and the guitar kind of touches on that feel again it’s just awesome songwriting by guys who stayed true to what they love and out of that spirit came such magic and some of the best songs I’ve ever heard In so happy Volbeat is a thing,is real and does what they do!!I could not imagine them not being here now that they are,In many cases Volbeat is the sound track to my life and I like it that way

I was introduced to volbeat over the weekend by way of "the last day under the sun" and my gosh I was instantly hooked, and I think I've already gone through their whole catalog. Such good music. This song smacks me off my ass in so many ways. Literally, my life for the past 2 years. New gf, covid, father dies. Lockdown, lost job, can't travel home, no job, still can't travel home, serious injury, new job.
The whole time, I'm very convinced everything sucks. However, as my friends have shown. Things don't seem so bad when you're with good people.
Don't get me wrong, it still sucks. But, Volbeat has made some familiar oddities into a famiy that has this song as a bonding anthem. And it plays daily, for everyone as a reminder. And, we love it.
This band amazes by sticking to the music they feel, and its various roots, and telling a story that is still ongoing. I can not wait to hear the rest of this album to know how the story unfolds!

I just love this song so much. For some reason it gives me mixed emotions and I don't know why. It explains perfectly how I feel about someone. This is probably my favourite on the album.

Both are beautiful songs, I honestly would not mind a whole album of ballads or slower tempo songs. My five year old daughter loves their songs, we sing along in the car and at home. I am just thankful they make great music to be shared forever. Rock on guys!!
