Oh man, I retired from Yugi like 11 years ago or something and I have never seen the sacred beast in Ultimate rare, truly beautiful. Also, I still believe Ultimate rare is the best rarity followed by ghost.

It's hilarious that you say smell because a lot of kids get hooked on to Yu-Gi-Oh at a young age because of the smell of brand new cards straight from the pack, though it was subtle.

I pulled the Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder in one pack I bought from Walmart 4 years ago, probably my most random pull.
Funny how I found my way to this video. I just found a bunch of these cards in the basement of the store I lease. Apparently it was a comic store from the 90s and there was a bunch of these Yu-Gi-Oh cards hidden in the ceiling. I tried to find the previous owner to return the property but I found out he passed away and had only one son that passed away. That was two years ago and I still manage to hold onto them. I have various booster packs unopened there’s a bunch of random names like the metal Raiders dark crisis there’s five packs unopened actually called the blue eyes White Dragon and only one pack of a Spell ruler. I did check obviously years ago And realize there was potential they would increase in price but I decided to check today and fell upon this video. Since the last time I checked his cards have increased dramatically so thanks for this video. For the record I’m gonna hold onto the cards though but I Decided to share my story with you guys. I have a misprint lob dark magician the name is printed slightly higher and the bottom cut on the card is so thin plus the yu gi oh stampis slightly offset in the corner

I’ll be honest, it’s just an extra secret rare in a trophy and in English. It is a bit more glossy for sure, though.
It's origin story makes it valuable not the actual material. 🤦♂️ Rich people always pay for good stories even if it's food and they eat them.

In the OCG, the alternate art tournament cards from ages ago might be worth more. The "Metal" Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and normal card Black Luster Soldier are both worth over a million
there is also the Tyler the Great Warrior card that was made for some sick kid. Only one of its kind in the world so again its worth a million plus easily.

While they are not mint condition i have about 3 or 4 of that blue eyes white dragon that i bought back in the early 2000s along with 2 of the original blue eyes designs, i also have a red eyes black dragon the original design from Joeys deck that i also bought back in the 2000's and while some of them have a bit of wear and tear, most of them are in good condition, and i can't help but wonder how much worth they are today.

1st ed. LOB-001's worth comes from the fact that it's the first print of a 20 year old card that is backed with lots of nostalgia.
Never said this card is worthless, but it's not worth 10 times a LOB-001.
Like I said in my earlier comments, there are cards that are rarer than this one that would MAYBE get 1M dollars at auction.

hell when this came out my brother use to collect these cards. i use to collect them my self . me an the brothers to gather prob have spent 100$ of dollars on cards packs an booster packs . make me wonder if i should crack open my storage safe an see if i got any cool one's . Just so everyone's aware because I have those two cards the: chaos Neos and the rainbow dragon that are both switched,
