I loved Mariahs hair this gen. She was wearing a human hair wig topper that was a perfect color match,..And just blended her natural hair in through the front but this was the exact look for the butterfly world tour. It looked heavenly with all the volume.
The song she had written for glitter at this time was "lead the way." I know it isn't the best source but wiki says she didn't record it until the year 2000 but on here she says its recorded already. So maybe she made a demo of it? Or maybe there is another rarity we need to uncover! If anyone knows more info lemme know i find this fascinating!

She looked tired, she must had been working way too hard. Even when she finally toned down her working schedule in Charmbracelet era, it was still crazy for common people.
What happened to Rachel? I always thoughtt she was a good interviewer, she always asked interesting questions not just the same run of the mill questions they all ask, always light but deep at the same time and never boring.
She has a big place in my heart there is just something special about her .... I wonder why around this time she keeps saying butterfly is her best album .. I’m sure because that’s when she left that Sony guy but to me that’s the album where she went downhill . Her other albums were definitely superior . But I’d say butterfly was unique and original when it came out since she didn’t make anything of that style prior to that .

Butterfly was epic! She added so much texture & layers to her voice. Lyrically, it’s a masterpiece! It’s not always about the big vocals…
