  • Our full time RVing this week led us to having issues in our Jayco Northpoint 377RLBH. Fabian was checking the roof and found some holes and our bathroom toilet had a leak. Come see how we fix it and let us know what you think!

    I’ve never seen that silicone cap before. Brilliant!!! I’ve taken a toilet or two apart myself. Those seals, unfortunately, do need replacing from time to time. Luckily, it was an easy fix. Thanks for showing us how to get it done!

      We hadn’t seen one before either until after we had the issue and didn’t want to deal with that again. We are hoping we don’t have to change the seal any time soon, but at least we now have toilet experience. Lol

    Great video friend. I’ve to get up on our roof to check for breaks in the sealant. I had the same issue before with the toilet. It also happened near the water tank. I’m happy you found the issue. It was the same for us. Cool upload. Thanks for sharing.

      We had the water tank issue too. Will be posting about that one soon. Never fun to find water coming from something, but glad to learn from it and happy we found it. Glad you found yours as well. Thanks for stopping by and watching!

    The toilet usually leaks at the flush valve on the toilet

      That’s good to know. This time it was the pipe, but will keep it in mind for if it starts leaking again to check there too

    Chasing water leaks! The life of an RVer right 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Definitely put those water shutoffs on there so you don’t have to shut off water to the whole camper. Good luck

      Water leaks are not fun. Glad the inside ones stopped once we placed on a water pressure regulator. Thanks for stopping by and watching!

    Hello Edward in America p o a this is your friend John tracker if you're finding links in your basement you should pull everything out and look over all the lines and if it is over pressure you've got a heck of a problem I guess you must have fixed the toilet already so I saw that you did a good job with that and I love how you use the dicor on the roof and you bought extra die core if you needed it plus some stuff to fix other problems your friend John chalker Waterbury Connecticut CC 🙏🙏👼👼

      Hey John! Thanks for stopping by and watching! Once we placed on a water pressure regulator it helped with the leaks. Just the pressure was too much.

    LOL I check mine about once a month to. You check as much as you are comfortable. Once a week is fine if that works for you. Next time it dries up like that just stick a screw driver down in it. That will get it going again. Yep I have played with the toilet. lol Love the airplanes. That is cool. That's right go do that laundry. lol Good information and video buddy.

      Think it’s a right of passage to have at least one toilet issue and something happen to the roof. If you don’t than are you a true RVer. Lol the planes are cool except at night when they are doing night ops. Luckily little man sleeps through it. Thanks for stopping by and watching!

    I just put a nail or screw in the end so it doesn't get hard.

    not cool that you have to check for roof leaks. The roof really should be leak-proof. My Allegro is a solid sheet of aluminum but there are many holes from the screws of the vents, skylights, etc....I still have concerns you're new camper is already developing leaks. If this gets too bad then we may have to recommend a camper condom....

    • @proceedingonwardinamerica
      @proceedingonwardinamerica  Před 2 lety

      We wish the roof was leak proof. A lot of it is just due to the dicor failing. As for the leaks inside once we placed a pressure regulator on it helped. Just too much pressure in the lines. Also, that would have to be a very big condom. lol

    Whenever we removed our house toilet we had to put in a new toliet seal. Do Rv toilet have seals

    • @LM-im3dr
      @LM-im3dr Před 2 lety +1

      I would put in new toilet seal if it did not fix your problem. I bet you can change your bolts to metal if toliet is porcelain that way you can tighten it more too.

    • @proceedingonwardinamerica
      @proceedingonwardinamerica  Před 2 lety

      We do have seals but that wasn’t the issue this time. It was the pipe behind it not being tight enough.
