if arsenal can somehow fit gabriel white/saliba and play a 3 back with wingbacks in midfield, i cant lie the defence might actually be one of the best in the prem to come

You don't need to play them 3 together. We are too reliable on gabriel and Saliba can fit perfectly whenever anyone of them get injured

He's getting into his stride now. Although its a shame he wasnt given a single chance, there have been signs he would have struggled with the PL's tempo and quality of opposition.

I really think moving white to play as a defensive midfielder alongside partey maybe even lokonga when partey's time is up and having a saliba/gabriel partnership would really work well. White has every quality to be a really decent dm. He's got an eye for a pass, he's composed and progressive, and though sometimes he lapses in concentration, when he's on it he's solid defensively. Saliba is gonna be a tank no matter where he goes. But I really do hope his future is at arsenal
Arteta has said Saliba is part of arsenals plans moving forward they just wanted him to get more minutes and experience due to him being injured quite a bit after he joined, loaning him out to a big club in France where he's playing week in week out and getting Europa league experience was the perfect solution for him in my opinion. As for next season arsenal will have 3 very solid centre backs, 4 if you include tomiyasu who can play there.

We are too dependent on gabriel, saliba will fit in perfectly in case one of them get injured. We need good defensive players like how city and liverpool have, even when one gets injured
