Man in the first 30 seconds of this video i found what i needed. Mackie Universal controller. lol. but i will watch until the end
This video helped more than the actual company tutorials did. Thanks a ton.
Doood. So happy you made this. New to midi and have been trying to figure this out. I am so grateful and appreciative of you and your making of this video. Thank you very much! You sir are a boss.
Man, I love this type of video, it's short, straight to the point and everything works just as you described it.
I've been struggling for a whole day. Thanks a bunch man. It's so simple, but newbies like me would never solve it without a little guide. This helped me tremendously.
THANK YOU SO MUCH IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR SO LONGGGGGGG
Wow. This was really helpful. I use FL Studio, and I always hated the fact that some of the buttons on my controller would never work. However, thanks to you, I now understand why! 😊
Thanks for it. I spent two days, for resolve this issue with the knobs... It was so helpfull bro)))
Just dropping another thanks here, friend! Great tut, easy and clean. Cheers!
The idea to set up pads in commonly used scale... brilliant. Your explenation helped me to map my new minilab mkII. Keep on a great work.
Really instructive and well explained. Thanks!
Thank you so much! This was exactly the problem I was having with my keyboard, I couldn't get any of the DAW buttons working inside FL Studio and you showed me the error of my ways. Appreciated!
Thank you SO much. Totally new to synth / keyboard equipment (coming from the guitar / amp world) and all other tutorials were completely uninformative to my issue. Subbed

Thank you man, it's clear when you explain

You are so amazing man thank you so much🙏🙏🙏
Thx a lot man. Fantastic video.
I've been using my keylab with Ableton 11. It works great. It came with analog lab 4 but I went ahead and bought V pro since it was half price for black friday.
Thanks for your work man
dude, you made my life so much easier. thank you!
Super helpful tnx man🙏❤️
Thanks. Great tutorial .
Tank you! Your a good teacher too!
Nice video, Thanks!
I really appreciate this video, thank you for taking the time to make it because it has been super helpful. I am having one issue that I can't seem to find any help for though and I was curious if you had come across it. When I have more than one instance of analog lab (or any synth from V collection), my keylab triggers all of the instruments unless I mute them in the mixer. So that means I can't have a pattern playing one instrument and then use the keyboard to play another, because the keyboard triggers all the instruments at once. It's a long shot, but do you have any idea how to fix that?
edit: never mind, I was digging through these comments and saw someone else had the same issue and you answered how to fix it. :)
MAAAAAN THANK'S SO COOL THANK YOU SO MUCH MY DAY IS GONNA BE FIRE THANK'S TO YOU 💓💓

Thank you so much.
Thankyou sooo much!
Thank you. Finally
You're a life saver
I like setting up analog labs the way you show. But for individual instruments from the v collection, like the Mini V I map them to different channels and custom map the midi. You can then lock the instruments to a specific midi channel. Now you have different instruments on different user maps already ready to play and mess with
How do you lock the plugin to specific midi channels? Or are you saying you just set them? Which is fine too. That’s what I’ve been suggesting in the comments for people using multiple instruments. Since analog lab is set to all on default you have to change it to anything else so it doesn’t trigger when you play other channels
@@Inflightmuzik hey so right click on the plugin on the channel rack. Select "recieve notes from" then the controller and specific midi channel. Now this plugin will only receive notes from a specific channel. Now just change channels and you change plugin focus. But I have my controller user maps set to change the faders and knobs to different channels as well, so when I change instruments I also change those controls too. It's super helpful!
NoRoots Music brotha, you’re going to make me have to make a whole new video on this now 😂
@@Inflightmuzik lol I discovered this last week and have been doing a super hard dive into setting it up. Its inspired me to make my first ever tutorial cuz i think everyone should know about this. We can talk about how to set it up if you want to dm me
@@Inflightmuzik Hey man! just thought I'd let you know I actually just published a video about this. Would love if it you checked it out!
Absolute legend for this video!
@@Inflightmuzik Yo I'm just trying this out atm and there's a lot which is going wrong... My template has multiple instances of A L open and if I set all of them to the same midi input they all play whenever any note on my keyboard is pressed, even when every channel rack and/or mixer channel is muted.. Also none of the parameter faders or knobs work, only the pitch and mod wheels. Am I really going to have to manually turn on the midi input every time i want to use them?
@@benlm_7979 Easy, in your template just change the midi channel of each AL 1-16 so each are on on different channels. You change the midi at the bottom of AL. On the keyboard you change which midi channel you're on by holding the midi ch button and pressing the note with 1-16 above it on the keylab. And also save your midi input port with your template too. Like I said i have mine set to 0. So whenever I load my template up, it's already mapped and ready to go.
@@Inflightmuzik yeah so I just tried that, didn't work.. For some reason all the parameters are mapped correctly and working this time round, but I still have to manually select my input on the plugin unfortunately. Better than before tho so thanks mate!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
THANK YOU
thank you!
exelente me funciono saludos desde chile!!!!!!
thanx for this video I called and send a lot of email to arturia support and no one of them gave a good answer for every beginners who wish use all button from keylab49 or 61 this is very good
Yeah, I understand. I’m working with them directly. I have a video coming out for the mkII because a lot of people were actually watching this video to get help with that keyboard instead. I’ll be doing this for both fl studio and ableton
thank you!!!
Thx MAN!!
THANK YOU ‼️‼️‼️
Thank you
THANK YOU SO MUCH I WOULD'VE BEEN FRUSTRATED STRUGGLING ALL BY MYSELF
Oh man thank you so much !!!!!
@@Inflightmuzik dw man u just got a new follower haha ! Send you strengh from france bro !
great tutorial bro. finally, i can use the pause button lmaoo. dropped a sub just for that
How Arturia Keylab Essential integrates with FL Studio? Can we utilize all the functionality of the keyboard? Works seamlessly with FL Studio? Thank you very much.
The only problem with "hard setting" the midi channel is that if you want to use the midi controller for other plugins as well in FL Studio it will keep playing the Analog Lab synth at the same time. So how do you set it it that it can control multiple synths at the same time?
You'll have to use a midi script. There is already a video of someone doing this, but their explanation was missing a step that made it a little confusing (if I remember correctly). But you can try searching for that video if this is something you're needing or wanting to do.
Thanks Dude ✔✔✔✔
I LOVE U BRO
im looking at one of these controllers to purchase rn. One thing i like is that it comes with sounds, but do you need the "v collection" or any paid service in order to use the stock presets that come with controller in fL like you did at the end of video?
Hey, thanks so much for this video - I've somewhat got it working but was wondering if there is any way to isolate the control surfaces to the active channel?
If I have multiple Analog Lab instruments in the channel rack, when I use a slider or knob for one instrument it is applying it to all of the Analog Lab instruments in the rack :(
It makes it close to impossible to construct loops with Analog Lab.
You'll have to turn off the port in the instruments you're not using. It's not perfect. However, FL Studio has new midi scripts that could help this, but I haven't looked deep into that yet!
THE ONLY RESOURCE ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET THAT COULD FIX THIS FOR ME. THANK YOU.
Happy to help!
yeah, this was what I was looking for
Me to as well
