You have got to admit, Ginger is DRESSED!!!!!!!! Her style is absolutely amazing! Fantastic taste in clothes. I see a lot of people with shopping addiction buy a lot of crap that won't stand the test of time, but Ginger does have quite a few investment pieces.
INDEED....I mean if you're going to go in debt over clothes, it may as well be GREAT clothes....and she DOES have great style so it's not like she's just buying clothes because of the label...she is truly buying HER taste.
Yep! She's gorgeous, but sut she could be that fabulous with a capsule wardrobe. Its crazy to think she has to buy EVERYTHING. She should frankly sell stuff, so she can update. My heart hurts for her.
@@Meli_Mels I agree with you. If she gets therapy and address and heal from all of her issues I'm pretty sure she will be selling things left and right! This woman looks like she is just triggered by the shopping and underneath has a wonderful personality, a beautiful black woman just trying to do the best she can to keep from completely losing it. Having a therapist is a great step that a lot of people refuse to take so she's going in the right direction. And she had me dying laughing with her facial expressions and cheerful comedy relief. 😆 PS. Crazy to say but, I hope she doesn't commit suicide because unfortunately, these great women with deep emotional issues that seem to have it all from the husband to the kids, to the career slip into depression and take their lives. Praying she triumphs over this.
That's like saying: "This guy may be a serial killer, but I gotta say, he picks the most beautiful women to murder. He's got great taste in women." No! It's a mental illness that can cause all kinds of problems (marital, social, financial, etc...). It shouldn't be praised or glorified, it should be treated!
Aieshoo 1234 true, she's very likeable but to think all the great things she could have done with that money instead of wasting it on clothes - helping charities, a nice holiday a great experience. Clothes can't give you that. Just a short term high.
Brooke Johnson I don't know if she would make a killer profit from selling all of her designer clothes on eBay, but she'd probably make a few hundred bucks.
merdelune9 exactly and she invested her time in her when she could have been trying to make a sale off the other customers who are hit and miss for purchasing.
Ginger looks so beautiful in St. John clothes and her personality is so fun! She should work for the company. And do you see how much the husband looks like her dad 2:53 + 3:39
Why can someone get into debt over shopping and be allowed to claim bankruptcy twice. She gets to keep all of those designer clothes? What is wrong with America.
Actually I feel bad what I just said. You are right. The lady must have been unhappy inside. Shopping fills a void and the sales people are trained to sell. It takes a lot of willpower to resist.
Well.....$280,000 in debt and it not be for student loans....well.....what can I say? Hopefully she has worn or at least admired the hell outta her wardrobe because.....what else are you going to do but be in debt over shopping....she does have her own sense of style and some beautiful clothes and shoes though.
l kofie that’s literally the price of a house😳 not in Cali/Beverly hils obviously but still. Most other places that’s literally a reasonably modest house.
I love shopping too. But it should not become a problem in somebodys life. I just plan budget save and shop. If one shops they should enjoy their stuff . If you overbuy you obviously regret what you bought . So the stuff is making you sad, but not happy. She basically earned 100k salary but is buying in high end stores regularly something she cannot pay for. Living within your means can always make you happy. I enjoy shopping occassionally and saving too. Both make me happy. She has stuff which which is now worthless to her and has to donate.
Hang on, she makes 100,000 a year, and she is 280k in debt. It sounds to me like she might be able to pay that off in five years if she lives on beans and rice under a bridge somewhere.
Stein-mart and Macys? You have to be kidding me? Why waste money on Cheap Chinese Crap that is bad for the environment, designers, the Third World, the First World, and fashion? At least she has great taste.
I don’t see anything wrong with liking high end things. I have expensive taste, not for the typical Gucci, Prada, etc. but I order my favorite pieces from small designers that make their clothes to order in the US and sustainable source. I pay more for it but I feel better not paying for sweatshop labor. And they are a lot more unique and look very well made. However, since I like the finer things, I can only buy a couple items, so I have to keep that in mind and not go crazy.
And here am I buying 2 dollar t shifts from the Salvation Army thrift stores. Wearing the same 12 dollar hoodie from k mart 3 years after purchasing it. I really do understand this shopping addiction thing though, I mean I get a rush when I buy stuff too. Cheap stuff.
This is why I prefer window shopping over going into clothing stores. Window shopping is a great way to get exercise and on top of that fashion is a form of art that deserves to be seen and admired. While I am not the biggest fan of the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" I do admit that the fashion was pretty unique as the film's costume designer Patricia Fields was the head costume designer for "The Devil Wears Prada." Plus, I admit Isla Fisher was quite gorgeous in the film. Though I had never heard of her until this film was released; so I had no idea Isla was Australian.
Material joy just doesn't seem to last more than a year. "I earnestly exhort you: let not your hearts be fettered by the material things of this world;.." ~ Abdu’l-Baha, Baha'i Faith
If they have a shopaholic addiction, I'd say don't give away all their clothes. Just give away the clothes that THEY choose, but count what they have or estimate it then give them a number. At least it's on their own terms. Besides, what is giving away clothes doing for them? If I gave away my clothes I'd want to shop even more.
..never done anything like that maybe, but gamblers shoppers have a problem and they can't stop, doesn't make them a bad person. People can turn a blind eye and convince themselves that they aren't doing anything wrong but the fact remains that they are contributing to the troubles in someones life. It may not be their fault even but if it were me I won't be able to stop thinking about it.
my mom got herself into a debit of £6000 because stupid assholes behind the counters keep offering her cards and finance options. I try explaining to her what her problem is but she won't listen, she's gonna kill me with these bills.
My step mother is shopaholic and always is complaining herself about she has a looooot of clothes but she always continues shopping more and more 😂🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I knew she was a Delta, all that red and the symbol on her necklace. Sis is BAD!!!!!! In debt, but she looks SHARP! She has a lot of investment pieces already, she can use what she has and get a lot of mileage from it for years if properly cared for.
She lacked responsibility and integrity because she knew she could not pay that amount of debt back yet she still shopped. This is why the country is in a mess. I bought too many things and I paid for them. I do not buy what I cannot afford. There's no excuse. It's greed.
If I had that much credit card debt I'd default on it, and wait out the statute of limitations. If she messes up her credit in the process of that well at least she won't be able to buy any clothes.
Billy Barton such a good point! Wow. Really made me think. Thank you. You are so smart. Keep thinking the way you do and you will go well in life, if you are not already! Best wishes x
She has earned 3mil but is 300 g in debt?? Should bought some rental properties back at start of earning cycle..or classic exotic cars...but not clothes!!
I don't think she should have given any clothing away, for two reasons: 1.) it may want to make her shop more and 2.) when giving good clothes to charity, the staff sifts through them and takes the good stuff for themselves :-(
People don't know what they are doing. My mother came from another country didn't speak much english or understand much and these people make it seem like they're doing them a favour but they don't understand the long term risks of it. These cards are really meant for poor people because they know they'll stay in debt and pay more. That's what this problem is you can blame it on the shoppers but if you know there is a problem then why not prevent it? You and I ca't understand it because we've..
Really she acts like a drunk. She seemed embarassed in not buying: demonstrating that way that She doesn't have any money...but that's the truth... She hasn't any actual Money: She lives on credit....
Fifi Aames She was making 100,000 a year for a long time I’m pretty sure she could afford rodeo drive anybody can get themselves into debt no matter how much they make.
Lol. She's a Delta, a black sorority, the reason America has "Head Start" programs nationwide. Some Head Start locations are still called "Delta Head Start" because Deltas established the program. There is one in Santa Monica, CA with the Delta moniker. What's interesting about that one, to me anyway, is that it stands as one of only a few community monuments to the black past in Santa Monica (thriving black neighborhoods used to exist in Venice and Santa Monica before even graveyard adjacent property became hot property. This phenomena reminds me of the city's Inkwell that has been commemorated but remains unappreciated in its historical significance.

I’d love to go shopping with her.
That's like saying: "This guy may be a serial killer, but I gotta say, he picks the most beautiful women to murder. He's got great taste in women." No! I agree though, that's just nice for people around you, makes the world happier!
Even though this lady is working on her addiction, I have to admit she is fly as hell and her sense of style is impeccable
She should be a stylist.
chikkachinijohannady Ryte! And obtain lots of clothing for her clients and herself how do one be bankrupt but still spend
She should've sold her clothes on eBay and the money would've contributed to some of her debts.
Thats exactly what I was just thinking
Brooke Johnson I don't know if she would make a killer profit from selling all of her designer clothes on eBay, but she'd probably make a few hundred bucks.
Like Rebecca Bloomwood
She has got great style!
I definitely agree....she at least has her own unique style.
I love her style.
Yes she does! But I think she went overboard with the shopping.
She's so lovely. I hope she gets better
Oh look how excited her personal shopper was when she saw Ms. Ginger....and then you saw her shock when Ms. Ginger didn't buy ANYTHING.....lol
l kofie because she lost her commission.
merdelune9 exactly and she invested her time in her when she could have been trying to make a sale off the other customers who are hit and miss for purchasing.
Love her personality
This almost gave me a seizure. I hate spending money so much, I don’t know how she does it! That being said, she dresses very well.
You are a great woman..being a saver!!
NO you really should NOT HAVE A REAL LEOPARD COAT!!!
I have the same addiction and believe me it's not easy. Even if you're in debt though I'm not, I can understand from this woman's point of view.
she got style, gotta admit it.
At least she has good taste.
Real leopards WOULD DISAGREE!!!!
holy shit 280,000 dollar in DEBT? Omg, that is the highest amount of debt I've heard a single person have.
Ginger looks so beautiful in St. John clothes and her personality is so fun! She should work for the company. And do you see how much the husband looks like her dad 2:53 + 3:39
This woman is SNATCHED !!! I love her , she should make a CZcams
Such a fantastic personality. I truly feel sad for her, thankfully she's getting the help needed.
Why can someone get into debt over shopping and be allowed to claim bankruptcy twice. She gets to keep all of those designer clothes? What is wrong with America.
Ginger could be a model. She has such a great sense of style. I wonder how she is doing now😊. I hope she is well😊!
Actually I feel bad what I just said. You are right. The lady must have been unhappy inside. Shopping fills a void and the sales people are trained to sell. It takes a lot of willpower to resist.
Addiction is a brain disease, a person with addiction seriously needs help to heal and recover.
she has great taste in fashion
Well.....$280,000 in debt and it not be for student loans....well.....what can I say? Hopefully she has worn or at least admired the hell outta her wardrobe because.....what else are you going to do but be in debt over shopping....she does have her own sense of style and some beautiful clothes and shoes though.
l kofie that’s literally the price of a house😳 not in Cali/Beverly hils obviously but still. Most other places that’s literally a reasonably modest house.
When you know your style, there’s no need to worry or even consider what is in season or in style.💁🏽♀️ However, I’m proud of her progress.💚
She got good taste...I hope she gets better
Oh, I should have watched. Until the end. Good for you for donating and going through your stuff.
I love shopping too. But it should not become a problem in somebodys life. I just plan budget save and shop. If one shops they should enjoy their stuff . Such a bright beautiful spirit ❤️
I tell you, for an older woman, she can WEAR some clothes.
All those outfits she tried on in St John did look amazing on her. That would have been really hard to walk out without any of them.
Hang on, she makes 100,000 a year, and she is 280k in debt. It sounds to me like she might be able to pay that off in five years if she lives on beans and rice under a bridge somewhere.
she lost her job due to bankrupsy tho
I love her!!!!!!!!!! The look on the personal shoppers face when she didn't purchase anything 😂😂😂
Love this woman.
i absolutely hated shopping when i was little and a teenager but now that I'm in my 20s i love love love shopping
Me too i love to shop
me too i like shopping
Duh u have money of your own
SAME AHAHA
Maxine is like WUUUUUUUUUT????
Why not sell some of those designer clothes instead of claiming bankruptcy. How about donating them. How about going to a Steinmart or macys?
Stein-mart and Macys? You have to be kidding me? Why waste money on Cheap Chinese Crap that is bad for the environment, designers, the Third World, the First World, and fashion? At least she has great taste.

For once a classy shopaholic with real style
If they have a shopaholic addiction, I'd say don't give away all their clothes. Just give away the clothes that THEY choose, but count what they have or estimate it then give them a number. At least it's on their own terms. Besides, what is giving away clothes doing for them? If I gave away my clothes I'd want to shop even more.
This poor lady I hope she gets better but on another note she's fun and can DRESS
7:21 the store associate's face knowing she has to put back all those things haha
She seems really sweet. I hope she makes it.
$280,000 debit (most likely just shopping debit) damn!!!! She could buy my house 7 times with that much money!
..never done anything like that maybe, but gamblers shoppers have a problem and they can't stop, doesn't make them a bad person. She’s so lit! Lol I love her, I hope she is making lots of money on poshmark these days
she should be a dress consultant. Help other people spend there money, wisely.
my mom got herself into a debit of £6000 because stupid assholes behind the counters keep offering her cards and finance options. I try explaining to her what her problem is but she won't listen, she's gonna kill me with these bills.
Those stupid assholes as you call them are not the problem your mother is
My step mother is shopaholic and always is complaining herself about she has a looooot of clothes but she always continues shopping more and more 😂🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
.... Ginger... you’re still excited in there?! Therapist standing outside dressing room
I like her personality and she doesn’t have a great style of clothes. I wish her the best of luck of getting out of debt. ❤️
She laughs to keep from crying. Thought this was a very interesting video.
I knew she was a Delta, all that red and the symbol on her necklace. Sis is BAD!!!!!! In debt, but she looks SHARP! She has a lot of investment pieces already, she can use what she has and get a lot of mileage from it for years if properly cared for.

Her face when she’s holding up her fur coat LOL
I make sure i hv the money first..then i spend..spend till i finish it..then i save money again..then i spend again..i will never b rich😢
She is lovely but annoying! This addiction is so serious! Hope she stays well!
Omg!!! Look at how young Dr. Sophy is!!! How tf did this just end up in my suggested videos!?
Good for her.
If I had that much credit card debt I'd default on it, and wait out the statute of limitations. If she messes up her credit in the process of that well at least she won't be able to buy any clothes.
I Love that I was in this movie and the commercial. Love it
Watching this video and I get a recommendation from YT to buy a confession of a shopaholic movie lol
She is awesome! XD
Style or not. Stupidity refined here.
I bet she went back that store next day and she bought all the outfits she tried on haha. I don´t blame her cause I have the same problem :(
This is scary because I have the same problem
I hate shopping (unless it's online)
lame go outside it's fun
Ever heard of someone who has an addiction to helping others? Of giving to people in need? Of giving money to people who have less than them? Why Not?
Billy Barton such a good point! Wow. Really made me think. Thank you. You are so smart. Keep thinking the way you do and you will go well in life, if you are not already! Best wishes x
well they dont get in debt to donate right?
She is stunning. I’ll admit she’s to kill !
She has earned 3mil but is 300 g in debt??
Should bought some rental properties back at start of earning cycle..or classic exotic cars...but not clothes!!
But you can’t file bankruptcy for student loans......
I don't think she should have given any clothing away, for two reasons: 1.) it may want to make her shop more and 2.) when giving good clothes to charity, the staff sifts through them and takes the good stuff for themselves :-(
She should have sold some on eBay to pay her debts!
You see the thing about that, not everyone wants to spend their hard earned cash on other people. That's a little something called life and humans.
Wendy?
People don't know what they are doing. My mother came from another country didn't speak much english or understand much and these people make it seem like they're doing them a favour but they don't understand the long term risks of it. I’m becoming a shopaholic :(
Self discipline!!! 🇦🇺
My guilty pleasures jewelry I have to stay away from the pawn shops or I go bonkers
Really she acts like a drunk. She seemed embarassed in not buying: demonstrating that way that She doesn't have any money...but that's the truth... She hasn't any actual Money: She lives on credit....
@Paola Mura, Exactly 💯
@2:08 possessed 😩😒
this is sick!
Yes...but no one calls it an "addiction", because addictions are bad things.
be like me work hard save and spend your money and get dad to give you a free crip, simple.
Bankruptcy twice..So those are all are clothes
She CANNOT AFFORD RODEO DRIVE. If she could, she wouldn't be $280k in credit card debt. Total phony. Stop fronting.
Fifi Aames She was making 100,000 a year for a long time I’m pretty sure she could afford rodeo drive anybody can get themselves into debt no matter how much they make.
She has style,NOT European but surtainly the American Way,but buying the whole collection........
she's like wendy williams lil sister
did she say she was a sorority alum?red and white ? wonder if shes A O Pie?
Delta Sigma Theta
Lol. She's a Delta, a black sorority, the reason America has "Head Start" programs nationwide. Some Head Start locations are still called "Delta Head Start" because Deltas established the program. She has goid taste
Good
The sales person looks sad, her clothes are to small she needs to go up a size.
