I'm my opinion he did better than Akshat Jain (CRE Rank 2, 2018). Junaid was asked more difficult questions as well as more instigating questions. He did very well handling both of them.
Akshat is much younger than him, this guy looks much older and already in IRS. In my opinion he was asked much easier questions and the panel was much humble in asking questions. As far as the religious questions are concerned they are not inconvenient at all the and the tone of the question for more in favor. His answers resonate of any general minority on the street. I agree his voice and flow of answers is much smoother.

@@D22KS Obvio. The purpose of the comments is identical to the purpose of the mock interview. Judges the attitude and aptitude of the student. But the interview is more about attitude than the papers which are about aptitude.

He is indeed knowledgeable but what's most striking about him is his feel good personality. Any person in distress will freely be able to approach him if he is appointed their area's officer. ❤️

The way he is articulating the facts and his knowledge to the given questions is truly appreciable, he is so so calm and feel nervous and stumbled sometimes but his interview is too good...
When I m listing to this guy...he could become a doctor also the way he smiles half of the patients could get automatically healthier While treating to them. He is truly deserveable candidate for sure and very pleasant to see that he comes from muslim background.

It's become a habit of mine to watch these wonderful interviews..so much to learn..so much to know how to handle the situations correctly during the conversation from Junaid..he is a rockstar..Excellent youtube channel..
A great habit rather than listening to stupid songs or comedy this is really good and knowledgeable the way and talking is a part but general knowledge is another part where we get a good boost while watching IAS interviews

No matter how many interviews someone sits in, this kind of confidence and tranquility is very very rare . UPSC is absolutely not for socially awkward personalities , that is confirmed.
The interviewers are not hostile, but the probing questioning and counter questioning is terrorising for a person in his/her bubble. Mr Junaid is somebody who has mastered the art of diplomatic communication

Sales and marketing agents mostly found to be such pleasing personality, it's enough for selling products, but his lack of knowledge is quite ostensible from his lame answers, probably he managed to conceal it under the cover of smile, which in fact was a nervous smile of ignorance, and the interviewers fell into that cover up and trap.

The day I watched his interview.. I started liking junaid a lot that how smoothly n clearly he held the communication with these gentle people... N today I wish I could apply for upsc but unfortunately I am at the age of 32 currently.. N when I was eligible I even had no idea about this super exam Or position... Really I wish I could... I am preparing for net/jrf N from Junaid I have got much confidence so I would be doing much hard work in the current field... So that I may have the feeling of being there...

Most of the questions are identity based.. and he handled it very well.. Hope interviewers also asked these kind of intolerant questions to other candidates also to check their ideological preferences because they are also going to serve our lovely country which has tremendous diversity.. anyways, to watch UPSC interviews on Drishti IAS is always wonderful.

I 've read & watch the interview of all heroes and sir/madam who have secured 1 & 2 for last 3 consecutive years, out of them I truly Captivates & come with a outcome that this person desreve much more ,,how a person remains diligent with enormous hard work , i salute your forbearance and passivity , your dedication and stubborn attitude proofs that something you set goal once with honest intention then no body can obstruct you achieve that..
I am not sure if the answers he gave but he seemed extremely humble and honest. And the lady interviewer seemed already impressed even before she started taking interview.
