I listen to this when I'm on a plane.
When I was a kid during saturday mornings my father was cleaning our apartment with the vacuum cleaner. I remember that I used to stay under a blanket and I was feeling very relaxed, very protected. There it was a warm atmosphere around me.
Now being in my 30s I use this hair dryer sound to feel asleep and to relax. I forget my daily problems and difficulties. In my mind I return to those happy moments when dad was cleaning the house with the vacuum cleaner and me, the kid from those times, was feeling protected.

I use this all the time. I turn this noise off only a couple of times a day. I have it in the background running low and higher if my newborn gets really fussy. It helps her a lot

Why do alot of these channels not use the actual sound of the vacuum as they're vacuuming. They just slap on a static vacuum sound in post and you don't hear the actual movements of the vacuum.
