  • This Scherzo is such a strong and powerful work with a musical sunrise right before the coda that always inspires me!

    Every note has a meaning. This subtle feeling like every single note was given attention. Bravo.

    This interpretation is a lesson on how a great musical tension can be achieved, with great emotion, without having to put a face of pain, without having to look at the heaven with your eyes closed asking for the help of the spirit of Chopin, and especially without make useless movements and without tensing the hand, arm, puting the shoulders high .... Rebeca Penneys simply lets the music speak for itself, naturally and simply .. Thank you.

      Absolutely agreed, some young pianists these days should have considered being silent movie stars or even ballet dancers before becoming pianists. Some of them could even make great commercials for hair products.

    Since I met you on youtube I love your pianism because there's absolute poetry in what you play by total relax of your magical arms , hands and fingers...like a dancer on the keyboard😊

    Such absolutely wonderful artistic playing!! Obviously, she has all the chops but you really don't see that. All you hear is true pianistic artistry. I've heard most everybody but only now Rebecca. Chopin has to be so proud of her. I am a new and enthusiastic fan!
    How I would love to hear her interpretation of any of the Chopin Ballades or even Beethoven Appassionata or 109.

    Beautiful playing, very movingly controlled emotion. Lovely pianissimo figuration balanced against the rhetorical chorale. Coda no problem. So impressed with the clarity and economy of movement, and the way you interact with the piano.

    Interprétation différente , plus posée et du coup très expressive.
    Je suis étonné par l'assise plutôt basse de cette dame, autant de positions que de pianistes...
    J'ai apprécié aussi le piano qui se démarque des autres, les notes très graves me paraissant cependant désaccordées.
    Un grand bravo à cette grande pianiste à la personnalité affirmée.

    Very great interpretation!! Most pianists play too fast and too strong in the coda, but you manage it very well!! Keep going :)

    Absolutely gorgeous playing with such an efficient and effortless technique. I’m interested in your seat height- you sit rather a lot lower than I was taught (elbows level with the keys). What are your thoughts on seat height?

      @RPPFRebeccaPenneys  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I like to use gravity & I think in general it’s more efficient. I can also play sitting higher. There are many ways. Whatever works is great! Thanks for your comments

    Очень вероятно, что так играл сам Фредерик Шопен : прекрасно … не ошеломительно - вполголоса
