Hey guys, you guys have been calling for us to do longer videos, so here it is just for you! And we're starting with our Jamaican CURRY GOAT, just like how our grandma taught us. Traditional & so so easy to follow. Enjoy guys much love
Who’s feeling our new video style? We want to show more in-depth videos and make it easier for you guys!
I enjoy watching you guys. 👍🏾 One question, why is the lime/lemons kept in the meat so long? I usually wash it and throw it out and then season. 🇯🇲🇯🇲
What’s your curry blend and how much do u use in it if your using different curry powders
Jacqueline Smith normally you take out but we just like the added citrus taste
Original Flava ok I’m going to try that 😊
Steven Abbott we use 3 blends always Jamaican mild, hot and betapac curry - but honestly as long as you use one Jamaican curry you are good to go
You guys are awesome!
I always use Betta pack, which is Jamacian, and mix it with chiefs curry from Trinidad and that is the best curry mixture trust mi man.
Chrrrruuusssss
Got the book fellas. Get on it people. But always good to see you showing it how it’s done! 🇯🇲🇬🇧

I use tropical sun but I’m gonna try some curry powder mixes now.
That looks delicious. I'm cooking some on Sunday. I managed to get a whole shoulder of goat and the butcher cut it up into nice big pieces. Lots of meat, lots of bone.
I'm going to marinate it with a mixture of Texs' Jamaican curry powder, Betapac curry powder, turmeric and Indian curry powder
It will sit in the fridge for two days, then cook it nice and slow.
We'll have it with rice and gungo peas
Love it! Ive been making it since the 90's. Thanks for sharing guys! ♥️
I'd never consider goat without Scotch Bonnet! You nailed it guys!
Yes my guys always fire!!!
I mean I can get scotch bonnets when ever I want but I still buy a massive bag down the market and freeze them.

Hey guys, I think you use a bit of Betapac, Dunns River and Mr Brown's?
Love curry goat. I always buy a whole piece and get them to chop it so the meat all cook the same time.
When you get the pre chopped it’s from different animals so when you finish some pieces can be a bit tougher than others.
I like the idea of using different curry powders. 👍
Best curry goat I've seen, been looking for a recipe that tastes like our local takeaway this is the closest I've tried ✌
Got yaself a new sub guys. Much love
Mr Browns Curry powder is the BEST!
Love you guys. I always use betapac curry powder and I always put at least three Scotch Bonnet peppers in me man like it hot.

Can you recommend any African/Caribbean butchers you endorse in London?
Malcolms butcher in NW London. (Willesden)
Mr browns i use normally but I’ve jus used bolsts an mr browns didn’t have any madras to throw in
It’s good to add coconut milk and cilantro at the end as well especially if your gravy/curry is too rich
Can you use all spice insead of pimento ?
Great video guys
No! You can obtain pimento seeds crushed if no powder
All spice and pimento is the same thing
@@DatriniThug Yes you are correct
It’s like the difference between ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick.

such a lick 🤣
Man dem work on your confidence. Don't be shy. You've got this. Be a bit more fluid in your delivery, say it with your chest. Keep up the good work!!
Any Spinners?
Not normally, but nothing wrong with you adding it and just making it your take on the recipe. Remember a recipe is simply a guide, nothing is set in stone.
It looks delicious in the end, but I noticed you have missed a couple of steps in the preparation and the cooking. First, the meat was not chopped as small as it should have. Second, the seasoning, which usually varies by different persons and what season you have on hand. Third, you didn't add any curry to the oil and parched it. Fourth, you poured all the seasoned meat into the hot oil. Concerning the latter, you should have removed the meat from the seasoning and then added the meat into the hot oil. You'd add the seasoning to the meat much later (about 2 hours), with some chopped carrots, green pepper, and Irish potatoes. 15 to 20 minutes later and you're done. I love my curried goat with white (plain rice), which is the traditional way. Curried goat with rice-and-peas (peas and rice) comes much later. Anyway, guys, you tried your best!!! Just an additional observation, a foreign accent doesn't good over well with cooking Jamaican foods!!!
"you should have removed the meat from the seasoning "
They explained how this was the traditional way THEIR family did it.
Their video is way better than yours.
What’s your curry blend come on tell us your secret
Ok thanks I’ll try that
should be shown how to wash all first !!
L
Strictly Betapac
Beta pack
So annoying I can’t get goat where I live
Vinegar kills the flavour of the goat meat
oils no soy blends demand change ! no gmos Frankenstein foods !!!
This is not the same as in the book
