Inline skating is dangerous. In some situations, I may choose to skate
without protective gear at my own risk. I highly encourage the use of protective gear.
All thoughts, views + opinions are my own.
Thanks for watching! - Sport
I just bought the NR110 Wizard set up. Looking forward to this.
Very detailed review. Thanks for the vid man!
I love the excitement you have for quality gear, I can definitely relate!
Such a great intro! Really good work! Those skates look like total beasts.
They are quite the setup!
Great video!
Interesting, thanks!
damn dude nice editing! and your reviews are the best. I bought the twister edge bc of you. xo from Brasil
Thanks! You enjoying your Twisters?
@@ThirtyandRollin yesss. I love them. It hurt my feet in the beginning but I've broken them in already :)
@@CarmillaMaria666 Nice! Ya they can hurt at the start but that's good. More performance once broken in.
I finally found some inlines that are my size...47. I'm looking forward to getting into it as soon as the snow clears and it warms up a little bit.
Awesome! What skates did you find?
3:24 Have you also noticed, how the wheel size directly correlates to the size of the eyes and mouths of the kids you fly past? :D I like your idea of measuring the frame length in relation to your forearm. That's probably how even a smaller skater can achieve a similar effect with a shorter frame.
Ya it would be a good estimate sizing tool. I also love the face of kids and adults alike when I fly past them. Although some adults think I'm nuts.
Big wheel bleeding looks so fun! I haven’t yet got into it. I’ve been really thinking about trying out some 72s or 80s Aeons.
Go big and just cruise! It's a whole new world.
80s aren’t even all that big anymore! That said I just switched my m12s to a ground control flat setup with 80mm wheels and it is so smooth and fast and just really fun.
Sick intro
Thanks!
Nice video brother, what boots are those?

@@ThirtyandRollin thank you.
Awesome video!
One little request. 🤏🏼 When talking about durability of the wheels can you tell us the mileage/km you have put on your wheels instead of, "a few weeks,"? It's just a few weeks for me might be a few dozen miles while you do that on one session. 😂 I'm sure many might relate as well.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Keep it rolling!
Great call. Will do.
Got these frames. All your criticism is valid, but at 6'5 with my gargantuan clown feet these frames get a perfect 4 from me lol.
I’ve just started skating on 4x80, but I think my next purchase will be a slightly rockered 4x90. 110 seems way too big to me, but I’m quite short, so I can imagine it’s okay if you’re taller
4x110 is a long frame for sure.
@@ThirtyandRollin I’m curious, how tall are you and what foot size? I imagine everything scales linearly. I’m about 165cm, so I’m wondering what wheel size is the maximum that might work. I’m not really interested in 3 wheel setups
Great review. The hydrogen wheel is my preferred wheel right now, how would you say the pro version compares? I know you said they're better, but can you use the standard hydrogen as a reference point for comparison?
Faster, and more responsive, grippier.
Nice !
How was the suport of the cuff?
Twisters held up great in terms of support. No issues.
Considering the structural design with the two layers, do you think that these wheels are reliable for jumps and urban skating in harsh asphalt with holes and bad surface?
Just to answer my own question, after buying and using the wheels. No, these wheels are not good for anything else except racing and running marathons (or normal usage in urban skating without jumps or other complex tricks) and this for limited period (as long as the outer layer is still there). For serious jumps >1m you are in danger the wheel to explode and get some serious injury. Moreover, once the outer layer gets worn out there is no connection between the two layers as a result the wheel to tear apart in a couple of minutes of extra usage (happened to me). Thus, the life of the wheel is as much as the outer layer is there and holds everything together then it becomes useless. This means that you spend 200 bucks and you can use only half of the wheel. Sorry but if I knew this from the beginning, I would pass. However, for normal urban skating and as long as the outer layer of the wheel is in a good condition the feeling is amazing, I give them this for sure.
Hey Brenden, how would compare those with Endless 4x110 (3x125)?
would you consider to do the review NN skates ninja 90, please?
If I ever get a pair I would be more than happy to!
@@ThirtyandRollin I hope that if you get a pair
What's your skate size? Do you prefer these frames or the ronins?
Will you be able to tell much of a difference going from kaltik baat wheels from 89a harness to 85 of these wheels?
Yes. Much more grip.
Weird question maybe... but what pants are you wearing while riding?
I just roll in my Levis jeans.

Hi there, I've been eyeing these frames for a long time, but I'm not used to a rockered setup, so I have a question: how can you compare these frames to conventional flat setups, such as 3*110 mm? I have significant experience with 3*110 frames by FR skates and Flying Eagle, which are flat, and I want to upgrade to 4*110 for long distance skating in the city setting (as I want the 4th wheel in the back) so I do jump, but not as tricks, with your time using them, would you recommend these? I don't feel that cons you outlined will be critical for my style of skating. It would be really great to hear your opinion, because they aren't popular where I live and I have nowhere to try them out, thanks a lot for your video)
They also don't sell the v rockered sumos now, so your opinion will be even more valuable to me
I like a rockered frame more as wheel get bigger with 4. That way you keep maneuverability. These will be heavier but just as fast and more maneuverable than a 3x110. Hope that helps. I would get these. 4x100 or 4x110 flat are fun but only for long distance speed skating.
@@ThirtyandRollin Wow, Thanks a lot for the answer. My main concern is speed wobbles to be honest, but the more info I find, the more I think that upgrading from 3*110 Flying Eagle Supersonics will be worth it both for long distance cruising (in or out of the city setting, doesn't really matter I think) and more of the jumpy stuff. The roads can be rough in my area, so I really benefit from 110mm.
Thanks again for a great video and the answer, you and your firsthand experience were very helpful, there's not a lot of info and user experience about these on the Internet, so any answer is helpful haha)
Will you be reviewing the NN Ninja Frames (4x90) anytime soon? I'm choosing between that one and the Ronin frame but can't choose :)
Not in the near future but I hope to one day!
Go NN Ronin
@@bladespeedwagon2540
Please elaborate :)
@@bladespeedwagon2540 I agree! Unless you have very small feet or are just starting out.
@@d_n_1589 there truly is no point in getting the 90mm if what you are looking for is speed, fun and stability. The 100mm is perfect, unless u have small feet like 30nBlading said, then you might want to go 90mm.
I disagree w using "beginner" as an escuse to get the 90mm because it will only take 1week (skating every day) to pick it up and get use to it.
A beginner can easily start with the ronin100 and avoid having to pay again for another frame once the begginer fase is over.
Long story short, its up to you. Some people like 4x80 so maybe 4x90 is suitable if one wants the next step up. But if you want the best (in my opiniom) that NN offers, then get the ronin.
Spoiler: Not always! 😂
The funny thing is the 100mm wheels dont weight much less and the 4x100 frames are also not much lighter BUT he didnt mentioned the over all weight when he made the review of the Ronin 4x100.
Now all of a sudden it's a con.
The length with the weight on these made it more noticeable for sure.
It will become the useless kitchen item of the skate equipment world.
An ass long and ass heavy 4x110 rockered frame for "urban skiing" with marathon race profile wheels. 😂
Too unstable and slow for speedskating and at the same time too cumbersome and chunky for urban fun. Additional to that the ridiculous expensive setup price.
Who is drunk enough to order such an absurd setup?
I appreciate your opinion but I enjoyed the hell out of this setup. It reminds me of the whole early rise/wide ski movement. A bunch of older traditionalist skiers hated it, but guess what, that is pretty much the only thing on the market now days. Every ski made has a percentage of early rise and a wider profile. I see a very similar evolution coming in the skate industry weather you like it or not.
@@ThirtyandRollin Please don't be ridiculous with your fortune telling. People are even switching back to their 4x80 setups, leaving 3x110 in the corner. Clunky setups are the last thing an inline skater looks for.
3x125 for Urban skating has also not caught on despite strong marketing for 5 years.
That's the reality weather you like it or not.
@@freshasadaisy4782 lmao who cares? why are you angry over some wheels lol.
@@EggsTeaSea A laughing smilie indicates everthing but anger.
Why are you trying to misinterpret my comment?
@@freshasadaisy4782 If you want to go from a to b on inline skates.. bigger wheels will provide a smoother and more enoyable ride on all kinds of pavements. They're faster too.. And a little speed is fun, right? The skiing motions also put a smile on your face. Sounds like you could use one.
Hey Brenden, how would compare those with Endless 4x110 (3x125)?
Endless are a bit lower and more stable. Power transfer may be a touch better. But both similar.
