    Dude you are good. You know your stuff. I keep watching all these American DIY channels. You are perhaps the 1st Indian DIYer I've come across who creates these videos which are technically sound and has that professional quality that can be found in Western DIY channels. Your setup will get better and your editing skills will improve as well. Keep growing buddy. I'm happy for you.

      I am a DIYer like yourself. Most of the shop owners and workers are not aware. They give random and incorrect information. You are great.
      You should make a series on small tasks at home.. how to install a fan, tubelight, jhula, check if water motor has gone bad, install sensor light, install water tank alarm and auto switch off motor, increase the pressure of water in the home etc. Search for the "comman man" CZcams channel.

    Thank you for replying to my previous comment regarding buffing with angle grinder. I have another query which is quite urgent and coincidentally related to holesaws.
    I have to install a split AC in my room. The problem is that the walls are tiled with 2 by 4 feet vitrified (pakki) tiles. I am desperately looking for experienced advice as I don't prefer depending on the gyaan of labourers or random third parties.
    Can I hope to get a good clean hole through the tile, and through the 10 inch brick wall that is behind it? Or should I get an angle grinder, cut out a square on the tile first?
    PS: I already have a 26mm hammer drill machine..

    • @smartdiyer
      @smartdiyer  Před 2 lety

      I hope, the wall you referring to has tiles on ONLY one side and not both sides.
      Vitrified tiles are very brittle as they are a type of glass quartz.
      1. You use a glass hole saw on basic drill (not sds) to cut a hole on the tile. After that you can drill using carbide core saw.
      2. As per your own idea, cut off that tile using diamond blade on angle grinder, and then proceed with core drilling.
      PS: Every tile is different. If you have any leftover piece of the tile used, try drilling it using carbide core saw without hammer mode. If it doesn't break, and if you manage to get clean hole, you know what to do.
      I have tired that with normal ceramic tiles, carbide saw works for me. Vitrified ones, if its hard, it will break.

      Sir, some people use different 3/4" pipe as drain pipe. I thought this way. Sorry for misunderstanding.
      If you want all pipes to be passed in single hole, then 65mm would be necessary.
      In my place people do this way. Or, if large hole cannot be drilled, then chipping is the only way. (square hole drilling)

    Please tell me that ,which size of core cutting carbide hole saw required for fitting of 1.5 Ton A/C. and which type /model of drilling machine (Bosch only) is required .
    Bosch GBH.2-28DV recommended by my friend .but the cost of this model is too high. please reply. Thank you.

      If you are a professional (or want to become one) invest for that machine. It will cost about 16-18K.
      In general, 26mm machine can core cut about 65mm (which is enough for AC pipes and cable) 50mm core will be somewhat tight fit (still people use it)
      28mm can also drill about 65mm only in laterite stones. Whether you own a cheap 26mm or 28mm, doesn't matter much.
      2 copper pipes and power cable will pass through 65mm easily.
      I suggest, get the cheapest one. It will cost under 3500₹ including jacobs chuck

    Hello Sir Tile mein hole karne k liye kaunsi hole saw work karegi?
    Would concrete hole saw work, I need in 65 mm, bathroom fitting mein jaise kahi pvc pipe mein hole ho jaye to poori tile ko tode bina holesaw se 65 mm hole karke pvc pipe ko fix kar sakein.. and kitne price tak aa jayega..

    • @smartdiyer
      @smartdiyer  Před 2 lety

      People use glass hole saws and granite hole saws to cut tiles. Glass hole saw is cheap. granite one (angle grinder mounted) is expensive. For DIY, I suggest using these ones amzn.to/3TdyX4j
      The problem is, 65mm is not available. 50mm is last size. So, you first draw a circle on tile, the cut multiple holes around the circumference using 1 inch saw. (If water is not supplied, hole will die)

      @@smartdiyer Sir didn't get it, should buy 1 inch saw (25 mm) or 50 mm one?
      And are you saying during cutting the tile we should pour some water?
      Kindly shed some more light

    • @smartdiyer
      @smartdiyer  Před 2 lety

      Cheaper glass cutting core saw you need water. Since your need is 65mm which probably isn't available, you should be ok with 50 or find other creative ways to cut round shape
