- Welcome back to the second part to our mini enduro KLX 140G build. We are taking this bike from stock to the best little enduro it can be! In this video, we install the Tusk Enduro Kit and we mock up the new Polisport Halo Headlight. Both products went on to the bike very easily and are a great universal option for almost any bike. The KLX is turning out great and we couldn't be more excited to keep adding parts and transforming the machine! So many more parts to install and many havn't even arrived at the house yet. Great video. Will serve as a good example for my klx300r. For future consideration, you could probably easily depin the connector from the brake light, so that the hole you still only needs to be big enough for the two wires.
We will be doing this same kit in the near future. My daughter just bought a month ago a new klx140r l which is the same as the older g models .
Did you end up doing this? We have a 140r that we want to do this to. How do you install the brake switches.
Get a kx85 front fender, Makes front end a lot better looking.
Nice, I bought a 140G myself in 2019 brand new. I made it street legal myself here in OH. Fun to rip around the city with.

From looks of the comments, you don't answer questions, but I'll try anyway: What specific LED replacement bulb did you use to convert the Polisport Halo light from halogen to LED? Trying to get the info needed so I can start ordering the parts to kit the wife's KLX 140R L conversion. The tail/brake light, headlight, electrical harness/etc options "out there" are a quagmire.
Same question! Did almost this exact build on my wife's KLX140 last month. Killed the factory bulb on her third ride. Trying to find a better light and some sort of mount for the housing.

ive been wanting to do this to my girlfriends bike and im just wondering what tusk kit did you buy? your video skips over alot of key parts such as connecting to rear brake bolt and handle bar switch

That Polisport light is garbage. Don't plan on doing any night riding without blacking out the entire back of the mask. The reflection is really bad. LED bulbs are a better choice no matter how you slice it, but that's just my experience.

Honestly we have had nothing but good experience with it. I guess everyone's mileage may vary.
@@JacobBoone is possible that this one is a different mask than the one I had on my Alta EXR (came from the factory with it). It looks to be the same or at least similar shape but I'm not sure how to tell what model number mine is/was. I cobbled together a mount to hold a KTM style mask which still isn't great, but it's more usable.
How did you connect the brake lights? We have a KLX 140R and want to do this.
We used a pressure switch on the front brake only, due to clearance issues on the rear master cylinder.
How did you wire the headlight?
We used the rear brake switch positive and spliced it into the headlight harness.
