Tuktoyaktuk, located on the Arctic Ocean coast, is a small hamlet known for its rich indigenous history and the stunning merging of traditional Arctic living with modern life. With the opening of the Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway, visitors can now experience the unique charm of this community, situated as close to the Arctic Ocean as possible.
Our team thrives on the adventure and collaboration required to work in such close proximity to the Arctic Ocean. Having previously worked in the Northwest Territories, including our ongoing apartment complex project in Inuvik, we embrace the challenges and rewards of projects in this extraordinary region.
In this featured project, we showcase the full renovation and gym addition to the Mangilaluk School. Originally built 30 years ago, the school has been a vital learning space for students ranging from junior kindergarten to Grade 12. With our expertise in extensive renovations and a commitment to minimizing disruptions, we aim to complete this project by the early spring of 2024.
Discover the scope and timeline of the project, including the construction of a brand new gymnasium, new roofing, siding, windows, doors, refreshed interior layout, new walls, paint, flooring, ceilings, and the creation of a community library space.
