Well, I've made yet another video on Bookworm Adventures Vol. 1 bosses, and it's this one: studio.czcams.com/users/videoiJodSHBNggQ
Why am I posting it? I've seen a few people pointing out that in this entire video, there is no trace of the Tree Demon. The linked video will premiere on June 19th, at 4:45 PM EEST, and at the end of the video, you'll see it as well, with stats explained like all of the bosses from the first game, etc. etc.

I personally love the second game more than the original. Here's why:
1. The Soundtrack - In the first game, some of the music can seem repetitive (Books 1 and 2). Book 3 has a great soundtrack though. In the second game, I could just listen to the music for hours, especially in Book 5. Book 6 is also great, but 4 and 5 are just better.
2. The Animation - The visuals for the game are a lot smoother than the first one. Especially with the attack animations and overall background.
3. The Character Designs - The first game had a lot of characters that are literally just copy paste of one another with little changes. Which is why Book 2 Chapter 7 is the worst level. The second game's characters are more unique with their designs and have unique attacks too. It makes me appreciate them a lot more. The most important thing about the character design is for it to be easily recognisable. If you look at any character from the first game, it might be hard to remember what book it was from. But in the second game, it's much easier (well, maybe not Book 6 Chapter 5).
4. New Additions - The most disappointing thing about the first game is that you can't replay the Adventure mode. You can with the second game. I feel like the whole side character stuff is actually a great addition, because they make my life easier.
Now for reasons why I think people would choose the first game over this:
1. The Story - The first game really felt like a trilogy of stories that had all the elements of a story (Introduction, Conflict, Climax, etc). Lex's face even changes in Book 3 Chapters 6 and 7. Also, the plot twist was cool. And while the second game's story was good, it focused more on action.
2. More Enemies - Book 1 had the most enemies with the majority of chapters having 7. And while I don't mind the second game having fewer enemies, I feel like people would want more enemies for a better experience.
3. Potions - You can only have 10 potions in the second game

i also love the themes more in the first game ❤ mythologies and real life warriors
One thing I also did notice is that the first game does not place a lot of restrictions on which words Lex can spell (i.e. you can spell a long, uncommon word, even in its' noun or adjective form, as long as it is a correct word and is not profanity of course), while the second game place restrictions on which words that can be spelled (i.e. a lot of uncommon words are no longer mark as valid words to attack and there are restrictions on word forms - you are allowed to spell a word with its' base form but not if you change it into other forms).
This also showed in the dialogues between the characters too. In Vol. 1 there are a lot of uncommon words in their conversations, while in Vol. 2 the lexicals became much more common.

It makes sense because everything returned to normal, so that means... Skeletrox's head will return to its body, and will live inside the Sci-Fi world for as long as he wants, forgetting whatever has happened. As for his brother, the Bigger Brother, he went through the same process as Skeletrox too as he is a fantasy Sci-Fi character though ya know

The worst part about the entire game is how even some long but understandable words are not accepted, something that was easily exploitable in Bookworm Adventures Deluxe. So if you are using an anagram solver, remember this. The game ain't as fun as the original.

This sequel is better for me because it replays the adventure mode unlike the vol 1 when you completed, it will not replay the adventure you will create a new user name too
I guess this is the only advantage, other than that, I do not really like it as much as the original.
The first game is too frustrating… the levels feel way too hard…

A lot of people complain about the potion limit in Volume 2, but considering that almost everyone would use Mother Goose as the companion of choice, a limit might be necessary.
Mother Goose isn't really useful past Fractured Fairytales anyway.
Really? I used her pretty much until I got Skeletrox.
Skeletrox or Legendary Master, these two are far better.

Four things wrong with Bookworm Adventures 2:
1. There’s no Clips & Giggles feature after you win Arena Mode.
2. The dictionary is broken.
3. Boss music doesn’t play when you fight the Monkey King or The Machine.
4. It doesn’t have a sequel.

Probably not. I'm already satisfied with the video apart from the Tree Demon that was forgotten and added in the Vol. 1 remaster. I'd only update this video for the sake of the Tree Demon and maybe the audio.
Well I would like to know what you rank some of these bosses' difficulty compared to the first game's bosses, especially in book 6

@@DefinitelyFakeGrantOBrien Oh yeah, the treasures. Personally treasures being underwhelming is made up for by companions. Potions also having maximum of 10 is kinda shitty but I guess it's for balancing?
I've always hated the limit. At least put it to 100 since both games work on the same engine and the first one is capable of showing two-digit numbers.
