I knew there was a cheaper an easier way to repair this leak!
Thanks Pal!
Thanks for the video. I had the same problem, hopefully it does the job.
This just came in handy for my 14 Mini! Thanks

That orange rainx has a film on it that kills flow sensors on VWs and Audis
Use Henry rubberized roof cement, cheap, fast, and reliable fixed. The same price of a 3M tube can buy a ONE gallon can of rubberized roof cement from Home Depot or eBay.

Don't use Rain X in the washer bottle. It adheres to the electrical contacts for low fluid sensor on most newer cars.
Believe me, cause it would cause the dash light warning to come on when the bottle was full! Put Rain X in a spray bottle instead
and spray it on the windshield yourself. Just get the blue stuff good for 25 degrees below zero!
Thanks for watching my video! The rain X I show in the video is specifically made for using in a WW reservoir. Rain X makes many more products than just the spray for the windshield. @@JR-kr1lv The sensors are connected to the
washer bottle near the bottom and very hard to reach (for the average Joe )to access!
Thanks for the vid this just started on 2011 w207. Cheers)

This 3M cement does not work on my washer fluid reservoir. The 3M cement can't hold the leaking fluid and it took so long to dry. I have to take the washer fluid reservoir out and redo it with a plastic welder soldering iron.

I have the same car and watched your other videos. They helped me a lot! Thanks for posting. How did you find out the leak came from using water?
Thanks for watching and your kind comment Apache! Don't you love the E550? I used to live in a freezing environment and had this happen before and I learned from that. Best, The Sailor.
@@Lsailor169699 Yes I love the torque of my E550, it really pulls, although not as hard as E55 AMG. Handling wise it's ok, I don't feel too much difference between Comfort and Sport mode suspension. I'm looking forward to your future video for replacing the air suspension, lol...
@@TangDynasty1983 Yes, the car will get me in trouble at some point. Agree on the Comfort/Sport mode. PLENTY of speed in Comfort. I would get an AMG, but you know what AMG stands for? ALL my Money is Gone! lol....Best, The Saior.
Thanks for the info. Short and content.

My Cayenne says not to use washer fluid with hydro retardant additives like rainx

Should of got the clear adhesive or some black adhesive that white looks like shit. My Benz reservoir has a heater built in.
Thanks for watching my video! Mine has a heater as well, but it does not run all the time. My vehicle's reservoir was filled with water and left out in sub freezing temps by a prior owner. Unfortunately, 3M 5200 only comes in white. As for the way it looks, you really are worried about the way something looks behind a wheel wheel cover?? That is sort of like an old person worried about what their Depends looks like. All they care about is making sure the liquid doesn't leak out!! LOL! You may like my other videos. No idea whats happening to what part of the car
Thanks for watching my video Rosi! Might be best if you take it to a mechanic. You may like my other videos. Just type Lsailor1 in the CZcams search bar. Like them? Subscribe for the latest! Best, The Sailor.
if you owned the car you would know. The reservoir tank is leaking. The tank is made up of 2 halves joint together with a seam. This seam gives up and starts to leak. It takes less time to buy the adhesive at home depot and fix it back home, than it is to wait at the dealership for them to tell you that it's leaking.
It's cheaper too at 15 bucks for the tube I save myself $125 for them to tell me that it's busted.
