4g antenna v3 more mistakes were made

well another attempt of the 4g antenna
turns out at the end of filming i realised ive been building the antenna for the wrong frequency .
oh well. another video coming in the next coupe weeks

You need to isolate the driven element ie the disk ur inner core coax connects to , insulate that from the metal threaded rod and test it with digital volt meter to make sure its not shorted to boom or any of the disks , as when its shorted to boom your vswr will be sky high and youll have huge inpedance mismatch .
Use huactrl and set it to band 1 2100mhz or band3 1800mhz otherwise it may use band 20 and 28 at 700/800mhz and then your antenna will ne way out of tune

To help minimize the blow out and bending when drilling clamp a small piece of plywood behind your piece of copper..should help some
