Enjoyed your analysis on how the Ashera panel was drawn in the wake of the ‘your usefulness to me is over’ line- and I was gushing too over that second beautiful panel of Ashera with his twin blades 💕 We haven’t yet been blessed with Two Hands Hyakuya but we got dual wielding Ashera instead, I’ll take it 👌💕
On Yu’s ‘vaguely seraph look’- how much do we think is Yu speaking as ‘himself’ in this chapter? I’m thinking it’s like maybe a 60/40 split human to seraph? 🤔
I never even noticed Ashera’s legs being cut off in the panel at 14.04 😅 good spot!
Yeah I agree it feels like Yu is playing into Shikama’s plan- I feel like Yu’s emotions are real, but they’re driving him down a pre-made path if that makes sense?
I do like the fact that Ashera is coming at this issue from a completely different perspective, and not just Humanity v Mika. Ashera to me basically wants no part in the shitfuckery 😂 Here’s the thing with Ashera and Krul tho and Ashera’s argument that ‘people are supposed to die’- if Ashera HAD been around for all those centuries, would Krul have become how she is today? Would it have been such a ‘mistake’ by Ashera to turn her into a vampire if Ashera hadn’t gone and left her? 🤔 Ashera is kind of presuming and taking on all this guilt without hearing Krul’s side. Yu meanwhile I’m guessing is thinking he doesn’t care if he/Mika wind up cursed with eternal life because they’re never going to be separated (his whole ‘together’ obsession) so how bad can eternity be? 😂
I liked your interpretation of the ‘that’s how humanity should be’ line and linking it to having hope/not giving up, compared to the vampires who have lost that 🤔 I didn’t think of that! I was looking at it like: ‘it’s okay to prioritise your personal connections and be selfish, it’s fucked up but it’s human.’

Ashera is definitely doing a lot of presuming, but he rly hasnt had time to talk with Krul so i can totally see that! But then again, isn't that just everyone right now? no one is taking time to talk LOL

i think if ashera hadn't left krul she wouldn't be how she is today i think if he hadn't left she would stil be the same as back then ofcourse not 100% the same becaus she would be older bit i think she would be a lot happier i think ashera mistake is not turning krul i think its trying to fixs it

@@yuki1250 yeah that’s my thought too, I think she would be happier and wouldn’t have needed to become so ruthless. 😔 Ashera just became set on fixing his perceived mistake, which actually caused Krul much worse pain 😔
