Jay ROCKS !
I didn’t realize Titanium and brake clean don’t play well together. Thanks for the tips!
I dont always build engines but when i do i let jay build it for me.
Thank you guys for the videos! Jay thank you for sharing your knowledge creating a more educated client which only promotes more sales. Genius!
Ty for sharing your experience wisdom and knowledge
Always killing it with the best information going. Explains it nice and easy for dummy’s like myself. A lot of camshaft manufacturers make specific valve springs for there camshafts.
Another high quality video.
I can tell you are confident about engines and their engineering.
LET'S GO JAY 🏁
Thank you for your knowledge and videos USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸
excellent video as always! Thanks Jay and Real Street Performance for sharing some very valuable tips. Much appreciated.
Very good Explained.!Good knowledgeable Video..!!

Absolutely loved the video.
Will titanium Retainers wear alot quicker, say 60,000 kms for titanium rather than 100,000 cromoly?
Jay you the man
Aweome video! Was about to order my Cam kit from BTR. Going with the hit rod cam (217/23X, .613/.607, 114 LSA) Would .660" lift dual spring kit work well with this cam? I only ask because they have been out of the .630" lift spring kit for a while. Or would it be better to wait and get the out of stock ones. Thanks
I first want to thank you for this very informative clip, now I have a question for you, I have a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK1 SRT8 6.1L and recently upgraded the camshaft/valve train but 2 days ago one of the valves springs broke but stayed in place and luckily the valve did not drop enough so the piston never hits it, I'm providing you the springs and cam specs to see if based on that you can tell me if these springs can safely handle the valves lift.
-springs ( seat load 136lbs@1.800'' , open 412lbs@1.170'' , rate 438lbs/in , coil bind 1.125'' ) and the cam ( 224/234 , .619 exh / 632 int and 115 LSA ) I will greatly appreciate your professional opinion, big thanks in advance
Thanks for the input..❤❤❤❤
Thanks bro
Love peace an axle grease. I'll have to email yall. Got a 91' rtawd wagon. Desperately need for rebuild for the head.
Will crower steel retainers work with supertech springs?
It occurs to me there are alot of "upgrades" out there that are really plucked out of the air by the 'more is better' crowd. I wish I had easy access to a spintron, but I don't. Still... all anyone is after is valve control: use enough spring [and only enough] to manage mass and acceleration. And so not only lift, but rate of change looms large: one degree of cam rotation makes how much lift?. For the same duration, how a cam is ground can force a spring change. There are people running triples out there fighting control issues where conicals would save the day - mainly on account of reduced mass, but also a resistance to resonance. And seat pressures might not need to change at all, or... even go down.
How often are valve springs supposed to be replaced?
it first for me for tita and break cleaner wall way god infos sir tank et merci bien
Question? I bought your guys steel duel valve springs and retainers on eBay. Can I use them on my regular b18 B1 non vtec engine? I’m not doing cams just oem. Will that b ok?
Yes you can use aftermarket springs and retainers on OEM cams. If you want to give us a call and go over the build with one of our Build Advisors we're ready to help answer any other questions you may have :) (407) 695-7223
@@realstreetperformance 🙌🏻 thanks I figured cause they were budget spring however I’m building a clean ass DB7 LS all by myself I’m proud to use your products. Thanks 🙏🏻🚗💨💥🔥🔥
Please what's the solution to top cylinder making a noise?
How to choose between 95lbs vs 100 & above dual valve springs (k typeR head & cams)
It doesn't need a retune?
It would if your change the camshaft
Why is it that no one ever lists the Frequency of the valves
I didnt see anything about valve spring damper springs
Forgot to mention the Conical Springs 😉
Those are the Beehive springs.
Ahhhh good to know. 😊
No such thing as valve spring pressure. It's a load.
