It's a concept album and you must definitely check out the whole disc in the future. She has actually recorded concept albums since 1997, when she released "Homogenic". Her previous two albums, Debut and Post, were more like compilations of the music she had been writing and listening to, mostly during her teenage years. You know, there are 22 years between Post and Utopia and it's interesting to see how she evolved. Debut and Post were very youngish, Utopia is a lot more adult, in a way... it's definitely from Homogenic onwards, that her music became a lot more mature. On a creativity level, she became more and more eclectic. "Medulla" (2004) is probably her most peculiar album to date, because it almost doesn't have any instruments, it's all vocals, inuit throat singing, beatboxing and more.

Even though I have found her three recent albums very impenetrable musically, when she does a video it’s like what you see here. Stunning. Bjork's music gets more unconventional the further down you go in her discography. Her least popular releases such as Medulla and Biophilia are very unconventional. Since you loved Tabula Rasa I'm sure you'll love the rest of Utopia.
