    After a 30 year break from bowling, I decided to try again this year.
    One handed was too painful on my middle finger, so i switched to two handed and i love it!
    I'm on the verge of a breakthrough. thank you for the video coaching!

    Thank you for your very informative and documented videos.
    The best I saw on CZcams.
    I tremendously improved my bowling switching to two hands after a year struggling with one. And it's very much thank's to you.

    Great video! I often change my speed simply with my footwork. When I need to slow it down about 1-2mph I will slide my first step out slowly as a big step..and it slows my tempo down without changing my upper body timing. This allows me to throw about 13.5mph-14.5mph. When I am needing to scoot the ball down the lane fast I take a short first step but I launch quickly into my second step. This is almost always 15-16.5mph. Upper body is also a big deal too but I don't change anything with it. I sometimes stand at the foul line and throw 12-13mph shots and 1-steps about 14-14.5mph...but those short throws have a ton of revs. I am still learning to control speed with my footwork only..but so far this is what I have adopted.

      Your speed versatility is great 👍 Being able to control the ball speed is as great as the feeling of controlling the motorbike's throttle. 🍻 Cheers

      Hi annoymus, I'm willing to make videos which can help you improve. Can you please tell me more about the adjustment that you are struggling?. Lane adjustment is one of my video topics which will be release in the near future.

      I have been bowling two handed for a year and was the captain for my high school bowling team. Bowling reaction in general. I know the pros kept looking at the reaction of the ball to keep striking. Bowling adjustments such as when to move a board, eyes or even ball change are hard to me. I believe it's one of the reasons I'm struggling at local tournaments. Also mental adjustments too(but this topic is too deep) since I often start off my game with a turkey then got completely mind-blocked, missing all my spares and the pocket. But I do understand this was hard for the pros too. So I'm excited and looking forward to all your videos since sometimes it's a recall for all my postures. Keep the work dude!

      I got cha! My current advice is to focus on solving issues 1 by 1. Your physical game issues are not unique. Many bowlers struggle the same as you, even me. Once you have solved them all, you would be more confident. Anw, your problems inspired me to create more video topics. Don't give up bro, be happy!

    No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get my swing path to align properly and I can never get the speed that would be required, fastest I've thrown the ball 2 handed has been about 14MPH and I can never projected the ball to the right properly either to compensate for the lack of speed when I move further inside. I really want to learn to bowl 2handed because i dont have the wrist and forearm strength to get my hand in a proper position behind the bowling ball when bowling one handed so I don't have that many revs and struggle when the lanes require me to move inside as I lose pin carry at a rapid rate. I just don't know what to do, I'd get a coach if I could but there's nothing like that available where I live

    • @ImKhione
      @ImKhione Před rokem +1

      My swing path one handed is also very poor which could also be the reason I can't stay behind the ball because I always wrap my arm around my back, and I've spent days recently trying to fi it with no success on a single swing so far

    • @BowlismOutlaw
      @BowlismOutlaw  Před rokem +2

      Hi ImKhione, thank you for waiting for my reply :D I truly understand your struggle because I experienced it. That's also the reason why I made these videos :D
      Ok, let's see. First of all, we are quite similar to each other. I was once a 1-handed bowlers. I struggle with the thumb release for 9 years haha :D Then I switch to 2handed. This seems to be a good solution for me.
      You say "I can't seem to get my swing path to align properly and I can never get the speed that would be required" => This is an ugly truth for 2 handed bowlers, but the good news is we have solutions. I have some suggestions for you right in this comment.
      Firstly, have you defined you own swing plane style? This is really important, please check out this video to see which swing plane are you using: czcams.com/video/l87gEma6Xcw/video.html
      Secondly, in order to increase your ball speed, besides the video that you are commenting on, please check out this one, this video will complete the tips of how to increase the ball speed for 2-handed bowlers: czcams.com/video/nNk5-ZKlpZA/video.html
      Then you can come back to give me some feedback about the result :D is it ok?

      Yes we 2-handed bowlers need speed. I found out we still need 1 but crucial element to optimize speed. It will be the next video 😃 Stay tuned Nicholas
