- Electronic filters are circuits which remove unwanted frequency components from the signal to enhance wanted ones. The hairpin topology is a microstrip band-pass filter for the gigahertz band (UHF). They can be very useful with SDR to improve the reception. This video features a Javascript generator for these. It also shows their design and my results.

I recommend you remove the soldermask as it introduces shifts due parasitics. Thank you for the video. cool info
This is some high-level RF design. I love the EMI scanner.
Thank you!
Excellent!
Thank you!
Tres heureux de decouvrir votre channel, extremement interessant
Thank you for this video 👌
Why use a gaussian excitation function? Do i understand correctly that the excitation waveform is a repeated bell curve?
Please forgive me I am a noob.
Salut !
Awesome explanation, thank you.
Thanks !
what is the EM radiation's acceptable range for your? At what distance from filter, have you measured the EM radiation? In your video, filter seems to radiate +9dBm power which is very high. Which topology is suggested to minimize EM radiation?
Hi, Is there a way to use your script to generate filters for 2m & 70 cm band?
At those frequencies, the filter would be too big to be practical. You should use discrete components instead.
