There's not enough changes in this to warrant a version 2. This should've been a free update. NI is getting worse and worse about nickel and diming their customers.
Glaze 2 features a whole new set of sounds that you won't find in the original Glaze. It's a big change for us!
I don't mind this being a new instrument, tho I don't need it. But as a NI customer for years and owner of K14 ultimate, A Maschine Mk3 & NI keyboard, izotope mps 6, and much more...I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing a Mascine 3.0 software soon. I dont nessecarily think the MK3 needs any improvement, unless you wanted to add a card reader for sample and project storage options. That would be a big step up for file management.

Come on ni, don’t start becoming 1 of “those” companies. Please don’t be penny wise and dollar foolish at the expense of your customers. Many of us love, and will continue to buy your products, but some things are a gargantuan turn off and insult to your loyal customers, and I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Also, please, please, please wait until products are ready before releasing them. Buying things now and having to wait until you finish/fix them is just not cool. As you well know, some things can’t get done, or done well/properly after the fact. Also, you must realize that some of us refuse to buy some of your products out of principle, because we feel penny pinched as opposed to accommodated. Does anyone disagree? 🎹♥️

It's not an update, it's an entirely new instrument with all new sources and presets
"Then it should have a totally new and different name" is what most people are probably thinking.
Native Instruments need to look after their customers (like Image Line do) instead of fleecing them.
This should've been an update to Glaze. It has less sounds and the same amount of wavetables. Why isn't this priced accordingly and also what is the purpose of buying into the Komplete Collections when there are NO perks and haven't been any since I've purchased it?
Hey there, we typically don't continuously add new products to the bundle as they're released. Also, Glaze 2 is a whole new library packed with fresh sounds, not just an update of the original Glaze. ✌️
If it’s an entirely new instrument, why is it called Glaze 2?

This is one of the few Play series instruments that I use regularly! Most are very meh, but this one is nice! 👍

Hey there, Glaze 2 isn't an upgraded version of Glaze. It's a completely new product with fresh sounds. That's why there's no upgrade price, hope that clears things up!

I know you guys have to make money from your products. But why do current customers rarely get a real benefit from you?
Surely it would be possible for all Glaze 1 owners to reduce the upgrade price to Glaze 2 by 50%.
Similar to Reason Studios, Native instruments focus is mainly targetted to new users and not long time users.

Bad move calling it Glaze 2 then saying it's a completely different product. Way to annoy your loyal customers.

You can update the Kontakt Player to the latest version using Native Access directly.

Yes, it has melody, harmony, rhythm etc you should’ve been on Earth long enough to know that!
Some may not take a very high level of skill to create but it’s still music & like everything in existence, the perception of it is subjective.

Bring all your stuff to IPad!! With m2 and now m4 it is time. Nobody needs a Laptop anymore. Peolpe buy you stuff anyways from your Website. So you would not have to pay too much apple fee.
