I like how Manchester's people speak, I think they are the only British people that I can understand when they are talking.
I could listen to Manchester accents all day long
I Love how every mancs pronounce the word love.
Luv
Y’alright luuv? I say that at least 4 times a day 😂
@@livherman2047 r kid
Funny that the old couple was so delighted by the public transport system
It is excellent though.
I'm a born and bred Manc but emigrated to NZ 5 years ago. Things I miss - the humour and friendliness of the people, pubs, curry restaurants, football. Things I don't miss so much - seemingly perpetual blanket of grey covering the city, the way the same amount of rain that falls in an hour in NZ takes a week to fall (drizzle), litter, scallies, lack of green space in the city centre. No obvious pretty geographical feature like a harbour, river, mountains or beaches. But when the sun comes out in summer Mancs sure know how to have a good time!
Same here pal
Kieran, you have a wonderful heart. all these people who do this EasyLanguage is just the best for language learners.
Thank You :P

Ask Liam from Oasis and he'd tell ya what his city does best...

Hello, my name is Ammar. I am a 19-year-old Malaysian boy. I am at my last sem in foundation year in International Islamic University Malaysia, Centre for Foundation Studies. Currently, I am doing a project on Mancunian dialect and accent. For this project, I am given the option whether to interview a native speakers of the dialect that I am doing which is Mancunian or the experts in the linguistics field of the dialect. So, could you help me to find someone or do you have any friends that could help me in this project?
I'd like to suggest structured subtitles so it becomes more didactic and follow the interviewer and local people on the script
I like city and people, I man utd fan
Excellent entrewie...

Oh, people there really like to look straight in the eyes lol I'm just watching and it gets me nervous! hahaha I think he should have asked another questions, idk, about the weather... but it was a great video, thanks!! :D
Vitorina Quarenta Dois You are right !!!! People do look you straight in the eye ;) I also didn't ask what the weather was like because it is England and everyone would just say "raining"
What's wrong with looking people in the eye???
Thanks! This help a lot!
More easy English videos, please.
Italo Urcezino stay subscribed as there are more Easy English episodes coming soon :)
Haha to think about it, the phonetics must be so irritating in english haha. I used to hate my native tongue, but now I realize how beautiful english is. What a boiling pot of a language. Allons-y, à apprendre les autres langues! hay muchos idiomas para aprender! 🇺🇸🇫🇷🇲🇽🇯🇵🇷🇺
I also want you to know that I can help with Easy English as well,as I live near Manchester and I'm bilingual so it can help a lot. :)
This is a really great and helpful video, however I did notice a good few spelling and grammar mistakes, which probably aren’t the best thing to have in a video directed at people learning English as a foreign language, just thought I’d say. :)
is there a better way to learn english than hearing people actually speak english?
Pls do easy turkish
Nice shot of living picture of Manchester! I heareth and understandeth these people in the way they spaketh.
Anyway I liked the canals very much in Manchester but the weather not (there were almost every day cloudy/rainy :) )
I'm one poor Brasilian unfortunately, but I one day I'll go to England.
same pal
Dude, they don't speak like this. This people are speking with a good pronounciation. Mancunian (maschester) accent is damn hard to understand. I dated a guy from there...
czcams.com/video/elbrWlIyQqs/video.html this is a proper manchester accent. Good luck! hahahaha

So Kieran whats your accent??
oh come on m8...you make a video for Manchester and you didn't ask which team of the both they support...anyway, great video. Keep it up.
wo0feR Suprisingly I did but most of them said either no or a non Mancuniun team !!!! ;) 😆
For me 1:30 ~ 2:08 was the most difficult part. The subscript reads "there's more of sort of different backgrouds to me, sorta got now you got stuff there and you got Maducks behind us" but I don't here it at all. Can any one confirm it?
My name is KAREN🙈
'Erm'

Good Video
Why the BIG DIFFERENCE between Manchester and Blackburn?
Walter Hernandez What do you mean?
The accent, the slang, the fact everyone hates eachother and loves eachother, when the bombing happened everyone put down their own wars and stood up for our city, oasis, Man city, no fucks given, music, transport, diversity and unity
this guy is cute
Olav Volobuev agreed 😁😁
I want to see the McDonalds!
When we would go to London from Suffolk when we were little, that was the big excitement for us, too. (Much to our parents' chagrin). :D
I'm confused... Came here in search of an accent but people actually speak a lot more clear than I thought... I've recently seen in TV shows or in 911 phone calls people from Manchester speaking on a veeery thick accent, dropping all the Hs for example, saying things like "me ouse"... But in this video people sound almost like standard english accent.
Same here. I watch Shameless UK and I have to read the subtitles hahaha
because of small sound i cant hear, what people say. it is like murmuring.
These people talking in the video are quite normal. Not how I imagine English people so it was such a nice experience.
What is that supposed to mean?! lol
(I ask with great amusement, not with offense as that question often implies).
there are some absolute weirdos in Manchester ngl but it’s the best city
I've been watching a few of these Easy English and would like to ask people who live in northern cities;are accents dying there?
Lekir No
Yeah
Guys, you should provide translation subtitles underneath as well, *_I can't understand_*
Your name is Karen? 🙃
Sir , can you explain to me about text "dya" ? I search in google and i get nothing in my language
slang for "do you"
The black guy has a drawl, kinda similar to african-americans lol
British people be like "It's Chewsday, innit"
e honda also you literally got that off a TikTok
"Where's the gun homie?"
Was the first man interviewed ENglish?
Walter Hernandez yep, it’s an accent among usually black people and you often find it in London and big cities
Shoot, I need to visit. Everybody likes it. Do they allow Americans?
Wheres the sounds of the real local mancunian ?
I fancy listening to their accent
Watch some episodes of Royle Family. :)
Tory Hardjopawiro bus lover They’re in this video
@@stonent they are in this video! The guy with the tie and the hat with the red strip (3:38) is a good example.
Gareth bale not playing football and messing with the public
eRm
????
Well the black fella wasn't local but ok
Esto aquí por Oasis xD
Drink everytime he says Manchester.
'Easy English' 'Manchester'
Ask Peggie Gallagher
Dear sir,,when guys about City that time we cannot hear their speech, so u should microphone put near mouth
quite boring episode throughout.
the manchester accent is very hard to notice...seem like normal london bbc english
This is too funny! I've been to Manchester before and Manchester is SHIT! Just a big ugly looking industrial town. To anyone visiting Britain, stick with London(Best city on Earth!),Glasgow,Edinburgh is lovely and even Manchester's rival Liverpool is way more interesting and nicer to look at too.
When were you there? As I understand it, the city is undergoing a transformation. There still are the gangs and bad element, but as far as manufacturing/packing industry I thought that isn't the mainstay of the town anymore.
Richard Schiffman when the weathers nice it looks amazing, canals look like Venice and it has a new york vibe
wtf happend to the manchester accent
The first person you asked wasn't even English lmao
Please, next time hold the microfone closer to people
Kieran, it's really cool you took up the offer to help out non English speakers and I wish the best of luck, however I have to admit this episode was rather dull. I'm not sure if it had to do with the fact you were new but I'm not sure exactly what was wrong here. I really don't want to give in to the stereotype that Manchester is an awful city, so I'll guess he question might have been to blame more than anything else. You were prying the answers out of most of them. Honestly, though, good luck! I'm sure your future videos will be much more entertaining.
Thanks for your comment :) This was my first time and I had no idea what I was doing but now I know exactly what to do, future episodes will be better!! :P
To call this easy English is a joke.
