A gorgeous tune with plenty of opportunity for expression. There are plenty of violin solos in symphonic repertoire, but the soloist may not be recognized beyond being concertmaster. Nadien's Swan Lake is an exception as well as Kogan's appearance in this piece. My RCA Living Stereo LP from the 60's has suites from Masquerade and the Comedians. I'm an unrepentent Romanticist and I like the way you play. Now, you need to invite 75 of your friends to join you in the 'background'!
