She has the routine bar any big errors where she is in top 3..the backhandspring into full twisting back is the hardest connection I have seen almost..though Suni has the side aerial into 2 backlayouts which is also very difficult..I don't know which one is more difficult..they both have the same bbackhandspring mount
Medaling AA is going to be tough for her. She won’t beat Simone or Rebeca barring disaster (2+ falls), then Suni and Melanie are more favored to win bronze. Unfortunately that full twisting tsukahara reallyyyyyy holds Qiu back from an AA medal because it’s not like her execution is ever getting above 9.2 on that vault even with a stick.
@@denisewalsh6586 if you mean her opening series: back handspring+arabian+split jump = B+F+B+0.4CV=1.4; Zhou’s opening front handspring + front tuck+ split jump+ wolf jump = B+D+B+A+0.4 = 1.3. Qiu only did that split jump after Arabian once in training, so we don’t know if she’ll hit. She’s the only one doing an Arabian at the moment, she seems to be quite consistent with it, but not sure if she will be able to add that split jump since it’s an F difficulty move.
@@davfb8622 thanks much for the complete breakdown. You are right Qui looks to be the only one doing the Arabian now..still Zhou appears to be doing a frontwalkover much easier than a real fronthandspring but they always call it a fronthandspring which involves springing in the air which I don't see here..only seeing a frontwalkover?
@@denisewalsh6586 you’re right. It’s a front walkover. I think Zhou’s high landing gives her an edge. I don’t think I see anyone landing the front tuck as high as her
This girl has great potential..
I really want her to medal in the AA at Paris.

Also that floor routine was overscored by 0.4-0.6 (ain’t no way that’s an 8.4 with 0.5 in form/landing deductions on that full in)
Did her floor lose a composition requirement by not having 2 tumblings in a single pass?
👍👍
Noticed her since 2020
Same. From her super fast beam connections
@@davfb8622is her connection technically more difficult than Zhous frontwalkover into front tuck?
