  • Velorapida is a Milan-based company manufacturing the most elegant electric bicycles combining vintage and classic design with state of the art technology.
Ludovico, one of the founding Partners, explains the idea behind Velorapida: the wish to join passion for design and elegance with the needs of modern urban mobility.
Velorapida electric bicycles are made in Italy with focus on quality and passion for details, following the world renowned tradition of Italian manufacturers integrated with innovation, safety and reliability.
In each Velorapida the battery is hidden in the front leather bag. Thanks to the 250-watt motor allowing 5 different levels of speed, the bikes reach a speed of 25 km per hour for over 60 km. All accessories and leather parts are made by Italian artisans.
The new VeloPlus range of e-bikes joins the vintage look with the latest all-in-the-wheel technology Bike+: the motor and the rechargeable battery are integrated in the rear hub.

i thinks theres a lot of arty farty snobbery goin on here, like design rather than practical and listening to that sculture waffle on probaly gets lots of money because hes a artist but there are more advances skilled metal engineers oldschool who get not much money.

Hi Rafael, why do you say that? All our e-bikes are made in Italy, starting from the frame which is handcrafted by skilled artisans. You are invited to visit our production workshop close to Milan.

it is just a copy, it is not compared to an original Ercules and it has nothing artistic or original and its very ordinary fists just as the seat is Chinese components is false ... you are not artists only believe artists .. You deceive yourselves

i think there are some good options to buy fillet brazed luged steel or gemufft with reynolds tubing or columbus but taurus uses chromoly steel so they are heavy but pashley uses reynolds 520
