World’s tallest Ferocactus grows on an uninhabited island in the sea of Cortez

- Hi everybody! Hunter here with another QUEST!!! This time I head south into the Sea of Cortez of Baja California Sur in search of endemic succulents of all types. This adventure ends with part 3 of the series focusing on the giants of Catalana island itself.
We see
Ferocactus diguetti
Busrera mircophylla
pachycereues pringleii
and a lot more.

Extraordinary plant life forms I love the desert. The geology looks very volcanic . I've camped in the cactus forests on the main part of Baja the cardon were truly massive 60 ft high. The largest ones I see on that island are maybe half the size in comparison.

Nice Jatropha cuneata videobomb starting at 5:35. The pachycaul trunks they both have growing next to one another make them seem like it's a part of the bursera, but the leaves are different on cuneata. Super dope video, bro.

Amazing adventure Hunter, precious Feros. I loved that you mentioned Jöel Lodé and his amazing and inspiring adventures, I have the luck to buy seeds from him here in Spain, really amazing and humble guy.
Hunter, maybe you could start a founding to achive an adventure in Chile and visiting Copipoa in habitat, I believe that many of us would put some money to that. I imagine that with the family and all the cost it's not so simple but, think about it.
