Ninja gets upset about devs adding weapon delay when the whole purpose of it is to prevent using two of the same weapon (I.e. double pumps, etc.). He’s complained about that for so long, and now he’s complaining about this. In his mind, he just can’t own up to his loss...

As far as I understand, many people were upset about the existence of double pumping, otherwise, the dev's wouldn't have removed it. Ninja even said so himself many times that it was overpowered and it required no skill. That doesn't sound like lowering a skill ceiling to me. To me, weapon delay sounds like it would force players to be more considerate about when to switch weapons, adding another element to the skill ceiling. Pull out a weapon at a bad time that takes long to load up, and you're dead or injured. If you are gonna try arguing about it, you could've at least given me an explanation as to how "weapon delay isn’t a good adition and lowers the skill ceiling of fortnite" instead of just stating a claim without any backup.
+Project account For school, Let me put it to you this way: let's say double pumping were still a thing without any weapon delay. In a game where weapon spawns are RNG-based, so happens you land, and you find one pump shotgun. Someone lands next to you and finds two pumps. Let's also say that this other guy knows how to use double pumps. You both find each other in the same building, close range, and you shoot at the same exact time. None of you miss a single shot, and shoot the same area of the body. However, you lose the fight since he used double pumps which allowed him to output damage faster than you did. You lost basically because the game screwed you over and gave the other guy an extra pump shotgun. Of course, that's a hypothetical, so there could be a lot of other variables, but what I am trying to get at is that double pumping is straight up overpowered for a game with RNG-based loot spawns. You learn a specific pattern of button presses, and bam, you have an overpowered set of killing machines. Shotguns are already the META in the game, and double pumps would only make people use them more. Then, there would be little to no variety of weapons. I mean seriously, how many people, including streamers, do you always see running at least one shotgun?

He likes the nerf of the double pump, but he hates the weapon delay thats in the game where it takes long for you to take out your weapon after building etc.

He doesn't want double pumps to exist, but the change Epic made to get rid of double pumping Ninja doesn't want either. Weapon delay is the most logical way to get rid of double pumps, and if it isn't, then someone please put forward an idea better than that. The best thing I can say is that Ninja is just a sore loser. He is literally the reason weapon delay got added in the first place. Had it not been for Ninja constantly crying about it, people, including his fans, wouldn't have made such a huge deal. However, Epic saw it and got rid of it. Yet, he still complains...
