      no, they pick them by their auras. humans have auras and they pick by soul recognition which comes from the eyes. our eyes are our windows to our souls

    This is super interesting and makes a lot of sense! I’ve been trying to watch my nippy conure’s feathers more to help stop biting. This highlights for me that it’s even more important than I ever thought.

      try kirlian photography. also some peoplecan see what birds see. it'sa gift to see auras and colors that animals see. look for people who take pictures and their pictures can contain orbs or fairys. really

    It's so odd that you posted this video today. I was just talking about this with a friend yesterday, how birds can probably see more colors than we can, because it almost hurts to look at them sometimes, like my eyes lack the capability to perceive all that they are in color.     parrots seem to be somewhat rare: they also see some ultraviolet light ... and according to some scientists who have studied the orientation of the birds, they also see the magnetic field especially the situation of the magnetic north, perhaps they see a vertical strip or something like that with a special coloration that is precisely where the magnetic north pole is

    I can see the flicker on florescent light and leds to a lesser extent. I am super light sensitive just like a parrot. :) I never thought about light in regards to animal communication quite like this.

      I know what you mean, one of my friends actually leaves/ wont enter certain stores when the lights are wonky (a fluorescent light at the end of its useful life will drive anyone bonkers).I love the ' light show' certain species of squid put out there, marinebiologists are still working on cracking their " codes" .

    This all makes total sense! I have a male lesser sulphur crested cockatoo and a greater sulphur crested cockatoo. They don’t get along if they get too close to each other. After a shower, or just as a relaxing time, I take a blanket and put it over my head and make a tent. In there, they are very calm and is the only time they really are able to become close and even give each other what I call “kisses” right on the beaks. They are so calm and relaxed.     Thank you for a great video. When I had my cockatiel I felt that he was reading me in some way and it seems that maybe they learn from the colours we create for various emotions, It would be interesting to see how the colours change during a training session.

    This topic really makes a lot of sense and especially for parrots species. Birds and their ancestors (dinosaurs included), one of their main form of communication isn't just about sounds (long range communication) but also what they see in terms of body language and colours as a form of short range communication through display. Whether a bird is young or mature (for mating), their colours are different too. Very very interesting and insightful video. Thanks for sharing and affirming this!
