Villain Archetypes: Fallen Heroes

SPOILERS FOR - Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos; Star Wars Original Trilogy; and Fullmetal Alchemist
From a GM's perspective, I raise questions and talk about the archetype of a "fallen hero" for a villain.

I agree. Fallen heroes make some of the best villains.

They do, although I tend to make them not the bbeg because of the potential redemption.
