It’s funny I bought this like two days ago and I’m very relieved that there worth it
It’s because they view Lego as an investment. They buy Lego in bulk when they come out, then they wait and resell them at double the price. Which is why the price is so artificially inflated. I just want to collect Lego starwars like I used to growing up and set them up in little mocks like I used to.
These knockoffs are one or two more years from being better than the real thing. They’ve come a long way
Usually I don’t support knockoffs but LEGO hasn’t made official Minifigures for Echo and Jesse so these are probably worth getting.
A bad batch set is gonna release this summer, no idea if theres gonna be echo or not but hold on just a bit longer

While that might be true I say fuck supporting China and their stolen intellectual property, if you want cool named clones go buy from CAC or some local decalers. At least they use official LEGO products. I’d rather support US sellers than cheap China sweatshops.
@@lostcoastfire1271 Okay that's a fair enough point, I'd rather support authentic custom makers than knockoffs. I still haven't bought anything from CAC but they have more of what I want anyways.
@@legometaworld2728 I usually just buy the helmets, or buy on eBay from resellers and get a slightly cheaper. I didn’t like CACs old helmets but the new ones are 100% better.

I’ve bought multiple of these packs, if there are ever any parts messed up they’ll usually send full minifig replacements which is cool. Real legos are too expensive and it’s just not worth the money anymore so I buy customs.
I must say these knock off sets are great if you don't have a lot of money but,the quality is just bad but, still great to be honest
Knock offs are getting really good, sometimes you get bad ones but to be honest for the value they are so worth it. I’d rather get 20 fake Lego troopers for £20 than buying the 501st battle pack for £35 and only get 4 troopers 🤣🤣

@Commando Droid yeah I have seen some of them, I like the knock off ones because sometimes they get more experimental with the printing unlike Lego who try to be cost effective. And also like DT showed in the video there custom modelled guns
im fine if you like fake clone troopers but I like regular lego because of the type of plastic being used
@@extantfellow46 Got 150 of these WM 501st guys recently, with all the named characters in there too for a total price of something like 160-170$ total? Collected dozens of the Utapau troopers pack back in 2017, and the amount of money you save on minifigures like this is hard to argue against. Wound up with several times as many 501st for a fraction of the cost I spent on 212th minifigures that had pretty lackluster printing in all honesty. Price to quantity it's just incomparable to official army building, take my word for it lol
@@extantfellow46 idk man, like I said earlier, I collected over eighty Utapau troopers on top of other clones since 2016--2017ish, and comparing the two together just in-hand feel wise, they're not really all that different? Not brittle or soft or anything, they pretty much just feel like a normal clone minifigure. In all honesty i'm not sure what you mean by terrible printing either? _(Unless you mean the actual face print which, yes, is god-awful)_ Otherwise the QC for the print application itself is probably lower, sure, but they're like a dollar each, so either way you spin it, it's still a bargain. Not even mentioning that they've got 2x the printing of official lego clones, where Lego just leaves half the bodies blank white. Like you said, Chinese bootleg companies like WM are essentially just copying existing 3rd party customizers anyway, so it'd make sense they'd look good. Also by that logic, wouldn't other customizing 3rd parties fall under plagiarizing as well? They make original molds sure, but they're still unsanctioned legos made and sold without approval from Lego or Disney as far as i'm aware? If it's anything like the 3rd party and KO transformers masterpiece industry, they're all legally lumped together as intellectual property theft etc. Good example being like Wei Jiang's arrest and shutdown a couple years back over in China. I just _personally_ don't see the issue aside from someone just being an official Lego purist, which there's nothing wrong with ofc.

I got the 501 and a 212 version there are actually great 😀 the 212 comes with a sick marshal commander Cody!( also they do work for stop motions pretty well actually)and real lego stuff works perfectly with them.

I got these earlier this year, they aren’t bad, but the arms are stuck. The guns are great tho if you don’t want brickarms. I recommend them if you really want a army for cheap. Like a dollar a fig

Im not gonna lie, theres something i love about the knockoffs and its the fact that their arms and legs are actually accurate unlike the lazy total blue arms.
I agree, I bought the Arc Trooper Clone Wars 2003 where there are Rex and Fives Phase 1 and I assure you that they outclass the originals.
LEGO should learn to expand the creation of the clones and especially the details in the arm and legs.

honestly knock offs are a hit or miss but when they hit they’re better than lego i cant lie

These are amazing, especially for the minifigures LEGO hasn't made yet (and will never ever make in some cases). There is actual effort in the design and quality is far better than some older knockoffs. This is legit good stuff. Well not legit but you get it. Also maybe if LEGO stopped overpricing sets and released more battlepacks...
I had given away my old army in 2013. I’m want to get back into it now, and these seems like the best way to do it. I bought a bunch as a test run from etsy. The fact that I can get 20-30 troopers from for 40 bucks is pretty crazy. I’ll let you know how they go

Those are dope. I got some for my birthday from my parents. The very first lego clone trooper I got was a 2nd air borne trooper. Please keep making more lego videos.
I'd go with these ones any day. comes with custom blasters, has holes for helmet attachments, the ship replacements for messed up figures, they give you the option for either the c or a dc15 for all of them, named figures, 40 dollars for 20 of em, spend 150 dollars and you get 100
Unfortunately, some that I've gotten are loose, but they're generally pretty good looking. I'm going replace the helmets with CAC ones for sure.
You can put a really thin layer of superglue in the joints.

the printing looks really good only the helmet looks a bit weird
I got these same troopers but swapped out there helmets for CAC rp2 and arealight for echo and they look much better. Also gave Rex and Jesse CAC cloth
Just got into these, and yeah. I have 34 official 501st from LEGO, which cost a lot if money to amass. For 1/5th the cost I got 100 of these including named ones and clone commandos. They are not that bad and if you spend just a bit of time with each one, clipping away any flashing, removing/reattaching arms until they loosen up to standard, etc.,etc., then these will fill up an army mighty fast. These are from WM and rock. Koruit makes decent ones too and Xinh as well. In fact Xinh has just made an Appo with a nicely sculpted pauldron piece. Also ironing the cloth parts to the desired shapes shoots the value and looks of these to the moon.
Exactly lol. Blows my mind watching people turn their noses up at these KO companies putting out the best value army builders you can get currently, and instead shelling hundreds of dollars to get like 30 official minifigs with half the printing.
@@catmandu5226 yup, those 34 official ones I got were hundreds of bucks in LEGO sets to get. Never doing that again. A buck a pop for these KOs works just fine and they look just outstanding on display.

@@catmandu5226 8 months late sorry. But yes WM just released set WM6128 the Wolf Pack. It is fantastic, they have certainly leveled up their quality control. We get the usual face prints but the body work on them is phenomenal. Highly recommend. In addition this new brand called G released GH0140 Wolf Pack Arc Trooper (but actually looks like a heavy trooper) and it is stellar. The pieces are compatible with Xihn helmets so now I am going to go order a few Captain Inverts just for the visor pieces to upgrade a few of my Xihn clones that need that awful helmet print hidden lol. But yeah all the Wolf Pack stuff is solid from WM and G and go well together got 2 full squads and one squad of the Wolf Pack Commandos. Top notch.

I’ve actually ordered more, haha! If Lego won’t put out product, I’ll just find what I want from elsewhere. Also, custom real Minifigures are usually way overpriced, so, I’d rather just go for a cheaper option, lol.

I got these and a lot of others from the same person there really good if you want a decent army and honestly my personal opinion is I just swap the heads out for official Lego heads it makes them look so much better and you can turn some of them into your own characters or you can use parts to modify your own clones if you want

Exactly if your building a large mini figure army the knockoffs are a very good way to go. You usually get about ten or more for about $20. While one Lego figure can cost about $10. Plus.
When a genuine LEGO Rancor runs for $50 in good condition, that's when it's time to deviate
Some pogo's minifigures are bad but Rancor is great really. I like pogo's Embo too.

Hey this is probably way too late to say, but you should fold and compress the Kamas and paouldrons for a while on the desired area. This well then make it less klunky on the clones and easier to put on too! :)

Hey! As someone whos been buying these whenever he can, i personally like them only because my friends are gathering lego clones, so i decided to make my own army, besides, we trade stuff constantly, so the custom weapons will give me an advantage

I just want them to make a 501st blind bag series. They use the named clones first and then maybe some additional figures.
I mainly bought these because it comes with a phase 2 captain Rex which the actual LEGO one is $80 dollars and what I ended up doing was with the normal 501st troopers just stuck the official LEGO (2020) ones on and they look way better

In my 501st battle pack I got a print error on one of the helmets for the at rt clone and the mold was a bit weird

I got these and LUCKILY the printed blessed me and it didn’t give me a Horrible print. I used this as a display on my room, as a 14 year old kid I think this was a good thing I got for my chores work
i recently bought the captain rex one and the helmet printing was a bit off but at least is worth than buying a $200 official rex.
