I love the differences between the rivals, the male rival is more upfront and honest like your typical mc, but Ivy is way more sassy.
why did that serperior have no good moves lol
Just had my first run, Ivy kicked my ass at level 95. I thought I had a balance team but she took out my infernape with a crit and had no way to deal with her Gholdengo.
My team consisted of Quaquaval, Raichu, Talonflame, Latios, Archaludon, and a shiny Amoongus that I found full odds in the beginning of my run. Type diversity, items, and luck really matter. Having legendaries I say are a plus but not needed.
Shinies are so good in this! They really improve the item drops you get. I would have probably picked a shiny for this run but Talonflame had Pokerus & I wanted to try having a mon w it on top of just really liking Talonflame 😆
@@FathomX that’s also why i kept talonflame plus he was my on my main when i played pokémon X so had to bring him along haha. got super lucky with exp charms though as well!
@@FathomX how do you get pokerus in this game?
Certain starters will sometimes have a purple box around them when you select them for a run & that means they have Pokerus!
And there's me with the dragon tail spam and force Rayquaza in to put my fairy type and eat outrage
(I also totally didnt need to reload my page 30 time to beat this cause my only mon able to force Rayquaza in was getting killed in the most dumb way)
This was before I knew there was a way to restart battles & also my first time beating Classic Mode so I was TERRIFIED lol
@@FathomXyour built different, to this day i still cant beat floor 195 without reloading the page
oof, sunflora isn't a very...good pokemon for battles. I can see maybe two niche uses but I'd say just about any other grass type is better. It's a shame because it's one of the better designs.
It was on the team bc it was a very low cost starter & I had a limited roster to choose from, for being like 2 points it did okay XD
Edit: I think Sunkern is only 1 point which is insane lol also it did have Sappy Seed from an Egg Move & that plus Leech Seed & Giga Drain was very good
Sunflora is a sp. def. beast in end game and learns sappy seed!
