This one seems to be a fan favorite as many people have requested I re-do in 4K and 60fps. The original was made in Cinema 4D's Standard render, this new version was done with Redshift Render. The scene composition is similar to the old one but I changed the road design and also added other cars and details to the scene.

Thank you for making this. I played this for my dog while she was sick and when she passed. She loved hiking in her earlier years and was the best girl ever. This helped her relax and sleep. I played it for her a lot when she could no longer get out into the woods. It was the only soundscape she really liked. It helped both of us very much. Thank you.

Imagine driving at night and seeing over the horizon a huge black hole. Just kidding. I agree. But our atmosphere blocks a lot of lights so we don't get the full glorious view.

OLEDs are prone to burn in very easily, especially cheaper ones. Be careful, lower brightness usually makes burn in a non issue, but stay safe

i envy those who were young before cellphones and the internet existed. No surveillance countries, no cameras on every corner. You just got in your car and every time you went for a drive you just got yourself lost for entertainment. Now everything is so connected, the world so small. The only sense of adventure you get is diving into video games.

@@Kai0nTheMoon To be honest, even back then it wasn't as nice as what could be seen in other solar systems closer to the galactic centre... We would need to be above the galactic disc and relatively close to its centre for the best light show. I'm sure there are other living things enjoying that view out there, it's just not us.

Thanks for this beautiful remaster! Reminds me of driving as a kid. I grew up in the US and got my first vehicle when I was 13 and drove it for hours every day and night in Southeast Arizona throughout the summer of 1995 (1971 Ford dually pickup...who the heck lets a 13 year old have a vehicle?!). Been driving a long time. Now I live in Italy and drive all throughout Europe and even though I absolutely love Europe, there's simply nothing like driving on an empty highway through the Arizona desert at night. It's unreal. Closest thing was in Iraq when no cars were allowed on the roads and there was no electricity after the invasion, and the whole night sky was lit up so brightly by stars and the moon.

I have a 4 ft x 8 ft poster of this galaxy ( Andromeda Galaxy) next to my bed. I recognized the thumbnail instantly and was glad the first song i was met with was resonance. Nice.

This is on an endless short loop. The loop is done very very well - it is pretty much seamless. And I LOVE the sky/galaxy image!!!
But what distracted me were the mountains on the right. They have this habit of repeating themselves every 10 seconds...
That's interesting... I noticed the traffic pattern on the left repeating every 5 seconds, so there's at least 2 different speeds going on here. Probably why it looks so seamless!

The center of our Milky Way galaxy houses a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A - located about 25,000 light years away from us.
I'm not a truckdriver, but I've done my share of driving all over the country thru every major Interstate for family road trip purposes. NY, Miami, Los Angeles.... I LOVE our interstate routes. Now if only the sky were this beautiful @ night when I was driving all those miles over all these decades
Who knows, there could be an exoplanet in some distant star system with a view like this. I do like the milky way view we get on dark summer nights in the deserts or plains far away from city lights!

If you go out to the desert you can see the Milky Way galaxy. Not quite like this photoshopped image but the first time I saw it my mind was completely blown. Pictures don’t do justice to how unreal it looks in person.

Bro, I love the little details in this, like the wing mirror on the left with the reflection of the rear car lights and lamp post going in the correct direction because, in the reflection, the reflection is getting reversed again because you're seeing the reflection reflected, by the car finish and the car windows; that and the waving in and out telegraph cables up above, which is an illusion created by the 'sag' in the lines. I also like the retro look of the cars in your lane; I'm not a car guy but they kind of remind me of Japanese cars of the 80's maybe.
