- This is the climactic battle from "Ultraman Cosmos: First Contact" fitted with an entirely new soundtrack. New sound effects and a new music score, written by me with samples from Project D.M.M.'s "Spirit." Most of the sound effects are from the "Climax Heroes OOO" video game, and Ultraman is owned by Tsuburaya Productions.

This video does bring back a lot of memories when I first got into Ultraman, and this may even be my favorite fight (not just in Ultraman but just in general)

Fun fact: Ultraman Cosmos is known as "The Merciful Warrior", he is the only Ultraman that could heal others and turn bad monsters into good ones, but he is the only one with this fighting style, Ultraman Leo does also have a similar style to this one. Cosmos is also a fast Ultraman, he isn't weak, he is actually one of the most powerful Ultraman's in the whole universe

Damn I’ve never seen any other ultra who can hold his own so well against Baltan - many would’ve have lost or perished under Baltan's advanced arsenals.
Well. Cosmos is up there as one of the most powerful Ultras around.
He just mostly holds back because he's a pacifist.
That said though, his real strength is his speed and flight. Even in his Corona or Eclipse forms, he isn't much of a bruiser like Gaia. But my god his speed is far beyond any other Ultra in existence.
Boi I hope cosmos can move like that in ultraman fighting evolution games!

@@rock_dude1 Maybe some Ultraman have different circumstances? Because Ultraseven doesn't need the timer, maybe ultraman cosmos also have difference requirements to make his color timer blinking? (Not counting low energy) and cosmos came from this universe and not from land of light.

Ultraseven doesn't have his "Beam Lamp" flashing because he wasn't created to have time limit in the first place (due to his series originally being separate from Man-nissan universe until it got retconned in Return of Ultraman).. heck, Color timer and time limit wasn't supposed to exist too until last minute decision and budget constraints..
It's kinda normal for Ultraman to sometimes pass their time limit on earth without explanation simply to prevent the fight from being too boring (or the explanation is simply those long fight somehow still 3 minute in universe law).. just look at the Orb Movie, when he and X first transform, the time limit is too accurate that he quickly change back.. but during his rematch, he somehow held off until evening without explanation..
or even Ultraman Z with the Baraba and Ace ep.. dude got wrecked by Baraba and have his color timer flashing until Ace arrive to help him fight.. despite already have his color timer flashing, Z proceed to spam his move and also fight until evening (without Ace actually recharging him)..
So yeah, there's amount of disbelief but regardless, the fight is always lit..😅

Wow! I didn't know Cosmos was not only quick, but very adept in his fighting skills in his Luna Mode, and in his, I think Corona Mode, I don't think he got his Future Mode yet, he's very skillful. And the battle between him and a powerful Baltan was visually exciting, and to Debut on the year we lost the World Trade Center ( 2001 ) and six months afterwards ( 2002, the First of Three Movies after the Series ), makes it all the more reassuring Cosmos REALLY is the Ultra of Kindness. We went through a LOT 22 years ago, but Cosmos's arrival made it comforting and empowering for everyone. We ❤️ Cosmos 💫, and still do! Great scene!
It's because this is Cosmos without Musashi. Cosmos himself is an incredibly Skilled Fighter like Noa/Nexus without his Deunamist (which Nexus/Noa Himself is even more skilled than Cosmos without Musashi)
Tho, Musashi eventually Surpasses Cosmos, which is not because his Fighting skills are better than Cosmos, but his Skills have Improved Alot and he has access to Cosmos' Eclipse and Future Mode that cosmos can't use by himself.

When i look at the story the final is so sad all kid balton helping his father. But when balton said stop ultraman cosmos see his crying. Balton turn back into the normal and died and his kid carying balton back😢😢.

Cosmos here is not actually from Nebula M78 which need sunlight for power sources and stay for 3 minutes.
@@emuhojo4825 Despite not being from the World of the Land of Light, he still needs light from the sun. This is revealed in both The First Contact and the Ultraman Cosmos series' 30th episode, Eclipse, since Cosmos (through Luna Mode and Corona Mode) gets energy from both the sun and moon.
