This song and Glorious Days always makes me think about my past. As an ex heroin addict I am always asked if I could go back and change my past, would I. The answer seems to be such a shock to them when I say I dont think so. If I changed my past I don't know if I would have came to understand just how much I needed God and just how powerful He truly is.
As an domestic violence survivor, post-abortive, and ex occultist, I agree. I'm not proud that I killed a child, of course, but it was those wounds that brought me to repentance and an understanding of God's love, mercy, and grace. Something that wouldn't have happened if I hadn't gone through what I've gone through. Without God I would have remained in so much sin. We are so blessed to truly know the gift we've been given.

I wasn't ever a complete atheist, but I was an agnostic that definetely dabbled in atheism for my arguments against faith. Especially Christianity. My reasons were more academic as to why I saw truth in the records of Jesus. But after that, I knew the moment when the Holy Spirit pulled me into faith. It was when I stopped resisting.
The thing is god never leaves you he is always with you it's you're choice to block him out or not even if you do he's still there watching over you waiting for you to come back. God bless y'all.

This is an amazing song. I'm 27 with a 3 year old son and I was struggling with a bad depression after me and his mother moved to Iowa to be close to her family. I began drinking almost every night and going out with friends from work and neglected my own family. I recently moved back home to NC and have put down the bottle and became the father I should've been to begin with. It's a wonderful feeling to lay down those old chains.

The very reason why Satan was expelled and cast down down from Heaven, to Earth. By sacrificing His one and only Son, on our behalf, He would allow us the Grace, Forgiveness of sins and the Promise of Everlasting Life, that His own Son had won for us. Jesus had bridged the gap between Heaven and Earth... Between God and His Creation. For all those who would believe in Him.... The ability to change our Lives, when we seek the Will of God, in it. I got the thrill of seeing Casting Crowns live at the Florida Strawberry Festival this year and they were, of course, AMAZING! Been a fan for over a decade but never heard them lived. When I heard they were going to be that close to me, there was no way I was going to miss them again. They did not disappoint!
