I read both of her books this week, "Angel on My Shoulder" (2000) and "Love Brought Me Back" (2010). Powerful, honest, and moving. Natalie Cole left a wonderful legacy of excellent music, triumph in overcoming her addiction, and perseverance through her illness. RIP!

I love this woman!!! Didn't even know much about her life and career until i actually studied her! Always use to hear her on the radio and see her occasionally on TV award shows and concerts through the years but she was one that i didn't listen to very often but always liked her voice but never really got into her music!
Maybe because i was more of a Whitney Houston Fan. And i was born in the 80s. No shade to Natalie Cole. When i did hear her music i actually listened to it and enjoyed it. But when she passed that's when i decided to look her up and then truly discovered what a gem she actually was! I went back and discovered most of her classic albums up until the most modern and recent ones and i tell you it really brought me joy!!!
The warmth and softness of her voice gives me chills. I always loved Jazz as well so that really was the icing on the cake! She was a phenomenal singer. Very classy as well as truly beautiful especially her eyes!!! And she seemed like the most sweetest charming human being! Glad that i got to really know her and understand her as well. Through all the addictions and illnesses this woman was very strong and a fighter! Wish i would have explored her sooner! Rest in peace and paradise Ms Natalie Cole! 🙏🏾🌹🌸🌸🌹🌹❤💫✨

And tho I am not of her era, I luv her music since her very first album in 1975 and practically every album since into 2009.
Her talent was boundless and the range of music she could conquer with remarkable success.
Too bad she'll be remembered as Nat King Cole's daughter, but I think Natalie finally learned to embrace that, not fight it.
Her accomplishments def do not fall behind her dad -- Grammys in the fields R&B, jazz, pop, contemporary vocals, etc.
I still miss her warm, rounded, rangy vocal tone.
Aretha got a proper send-off when she left, but Natalie never did.
One of music's most underrated singers. Ever.
Still play her song "Inseparable" all the time.
Our home was filled with Nathalie and her sisters, and fathers music.
