Lol yeah girl I knew that “curl the edges hair” hack . it’s technically styled so when you go on and smooth it out with the gel ; you’re just setting it . The outcome just depends on how big /thick you make your curls.

I feel like cutting the excess lace off instead of going back in with the glue only applies to the first installment because if you do that every time you reinstall your wig the lace will just keep getting shorter and shorter till the wig won’t even fit no more. It’s happened to me before & tae be putting a new wig on those girls every time. Regular people can’t afford a new wig or frontal replacement every week lol

The hair looks amazing! Just curious, but what about securing the back? Is there also lace back there that needs to be smoothed down for updos? Curious, because I'm considering a purchase of wig or wefts, due to thinning. Thanks in advance♡
Normal wigs have a comb attached so you can secure it to the back of your head. 360 lace front wigs have lace similar to the frontal that can be plucked to mimic the back of someones head. From there, they can use wig glue to secure it in case they want to do a ponytail or another updo.
another thing, you can sew in an elastic band incase your hair is super shot bc the combs go into your hair. The shorter the hair, the harder it will be to secure the back using combs. i have fingerwaves underneath my wig cap so using an elastic band is super helpful. Another benefit to using an elastic band is that you can install your wig without using glue or hairspray. That’s called the glueless method.

Theres a whole variety of different wigs like T part lace fronts, u part wigs, closure wigs, full lace wigs, etc. In case you do happen to buy a wig with lace, make sure it’s transparent so itll blend into your skintone. Most lace come in a medium brown shade which ends up being too dark for me so if you’re lighter than I am, stick to a transparent lace so itll blend in. HD lace wigs melt into any skintone but they don’t last since the lace is super thin. Hope you find a wig to your liking!

Nooo bleaching those knots are very much still top #1 priority when it comes to wigs. He just didn’t go over bleaching during the class .
Some knots and laces are so thin that you can skip out on that step but it’s a case by case situation!

That’s a valid point! The only time you would need to cut the lace again is when the lace starts balding and atp the replacement should be in place

Erickas glue formula is the same , the smell is the only difference but it just makes the glue even better lol. A strong hold plus great smell? 10/10
